Bitfinex seems to be back to normal for now.
I am seriously thinking about closing my positions and getting my coins off the exchange.
The last time I got burned by an exchange, I lost over $30k. I am not about to repeat that mistake.
I dunno. Whadda you guys think?

If you're not day trading, then keep your coins in your wallet.

Somebody who lost 30 grand would not be asking this forum what to do.

Yep... hahahahahaha      Cheesy Wink

seems kinda  1)   troll-ish, 2) made up or 3) retarded

Or 4) a kid who thinks being a trader is cool.  Smiley

That would fall under the category of "retarded."    Wink Wink

Call me a liar all you want, it doesn't change the fact that I have been in this game since 2011. I mined over 3000 bitcoins with the array in this video. I am the owner of the ROBOT-ARMY, which was in the top 10 mining arrays on deepbit. I was running 14GH in 2011.
Why does it surprise you that someone that lost 30k on a bogus exchange would be here. In bitcoin world, 30k is peanuts.

For having all of that supposed experience, you ask a lot of dumb questions, and you also bring up a lot of dumb topics in apparent attempt to make everything about yourself.  If you want to contribute to the dialogue with your various experiences, then do it.

It does not seem very relevant or necessary to list of any of your supposed credentials to which they may exist except maybe to the extent that experiences around such
credentials may relate to some topic at hand...

so hopefully you can stay focused long enough to contribute to the topics of the thread without becoming too emotional in your various outbursts.
You are a fucking moron.
I am not going to waste any more time responding to your stupidity.
Whadda ya think folks? Should JayJuanGee get the honor of being the first person I use the ignore button on?

I was beginning to think maybe, just maybe, you were going to be able to engage substantively in bitcoin related topics and to refrain from continued temperature tantrums; however, you seemed to have proven me wrong.  Go ahead, ask the community what to do, since you seem hesitant to decide for yourself.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes    Cry Cry Cry    Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

if ripple dies... oh well not my fault. too bad so sad... ripples exchange is going DOWN. u got literaly one month get ur stuff out of ripple exchange or "you wont be able to access it."

Ripple: The First Cryptocurrency Of the Central Banker Set [tm]

BULLISH!

For clarification, I meant Bullish for Bitcoin. (cuckoo for cocoa puffs?)

Quote
their exchange "rippletrade" is going DOWN. they saying it is a new beginning. really what is happening is they are collapsing and they are going for the money on that exchange as they collapse. RIP ripple.. sorry to see you get torpedoed like that ..

I'm in the clear. I've got some several dozen thousand Ripples, but I've not been able to access them since they reconfigured their site access credentials some months (years?) ago. I've long since written them off.

Quote
maybe the next ripple 2.0 alt coin will be better.

ehhh... probably not.

yep i have a few ripples. i'm keeping them. i do not see any reason to sell them. i already committed to that strategy and panic selling would go against everything. sorry ripple.. sink or swim ..  hope u got some life boats .

I value the opinions of some of the people in here, that's why I ask for input from this community. I am wise enough to know that I don't always have all the answers, and that I should gather as much information as possible before making a decision. I guess you don't have the wisdom or experience for that kind of approach.
I have no respect for you. You are obviously incapable of teaching me anything or learning anything from me.

I didn't freak out. I sold at 457.60. I bet you wish you would have got out that high. You could be increasing your holdings right now. I am thinking about buying back in if it drops a bit more. Read my posts and compare my moves and predictions to the charts.
I don't need help from the forums. I value the opinions of some of the people in here (not you) and I like to get as much input as I can gather before making a move.
I don't really care if you believe me or not, as your opinion holds no sway over my trading decisions.

holy shit no one cares stfu

2 million $ worth of longs added on bitfinex in the last 12 hrs, total near $26.5 mil . Shorts below 8k btc.

If that isn't a recipe for a crash, I don't know what is. When the price starts dropping, there will be margin calls.
I will admit, I shouldn't have sold at 450. I should have waited for 465-470. That doesn't change the fact that this leverage fueled rally is not sustainable, and will end with a massive move downward. Get out now, or lose all your gains.

Eventually yes, but I won't lie about it. This shit fucking hurts. I hate being wrong, and I hate losing money. I am gonna stick this out. I'm not taking this loss. The crash is coming. Maybe it will happen tonight while you are asleep. Better cash out now. You may wake up tomorrow wishing you had.

I sold at 450, started shorting at 455-460, and an hour later it crashes all the way down to about $400. I was the only one on the forum predicting a correction that night. I bought back in at 420. Why exactly do you find it appropriate to mock me for making one of the smartest trades possible a couple days ago? Are you even reading what you are posting?

ripples exchange is going DOWN. u got literaly one month get ur stuff out of ripple exchange or "you wont be able to access it."... sounds like a money grab to me.

Thanks for the warning. That explains why it's crashed almost 50% in the last 8 hours. First they wanted KYC ID, and now they're abandoning the whole rippletrade platform. It brings home how crappy a centralized platform is when one entity can shut it down in a month, or faster if they want.

You're not the only one that was trading the euphoria of friday night. The rest of us are just a bit more subtle. You want to present yourself as the perfect trader, go ahead, take snapshots all the way back to 3000 btc.

JJG is kinda our macabre mascot around here, he first bought at the very tippy top of the $1200 bubble. He's been buying the whole way down iirc. He breaks even at 501, so I (we?) kind of cheer for him, and if he's even... well... Yes, he's long winded and often nitpicks things for bizzare reasons, but he's our long winded nitpicker.

This whole thread is a weird cast of characters, best to just post what you post and try not to get emotional about the possibly unwelcome replies.

So I guess I am going to have to post whatever evidence I can collect of who the fuck I am and where the fuck I have been, because some of you little jerk-offs think I am just making shit up.
I will start with a post from my old account.
I lost all my mining profits since I started mining back in 2010. I'm looking for work now. there is no way I will be able to recover from this. I'm done with crypto.
The problem with Bitcoin, and with capitalism in general, is there is always gonna be some selfish asshole that ruins it for everyone by finding a way to cheat honest players out of the market, until the cheaters are the only ones left playing the game.

he looks real boys, add him to the mem.... I mean army of wall observer XXX
