You've been Four Punch Raided, boys and girls.

Google turns up four results for "four punch raid". Wanna ELI5?

Just something that Billy came up with
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=956051.0

Germane part from the link - it was something BJA noticed as a repeated atomic meta-move:

1) crash/bounce
2) stutter step
3) spike/short squeeze
4) second bounce at much higher level

If I know what a 'stutter step' was, I might be able to make use of this knowledge -- should it be a real thing.

as i understand it,  it is adapted from boxing.
essentially anyone that wants to make something stop or change direction or punish etc hits the target in a planned and very heavy way and it usually is very effective at getting the outcome they want. just as in boxing if you hit your opponent with 4 consecutive punches in a matter of seconds you will have them in real trouble.

Very good. Go to the head of the class.

an example is the sideways action (up then down) just after the crash to $352

Lagarde raising her hand thinking that cash will no longer exist in 10 years time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwkC8WaN5T4&feature=youtu.be&t=1822

There's rather a large gulf between what the back room economic egg heads want, and what your average personage on the street will put up with. Debase and inflate by all means, that's something that rarely crosses the average mind, but removing cash is going to make a few people think.

It seems to be well on its way in Scandinavia. I'm not so sure other parts of the world are so keen to succumb to total slavery.

There's no doubt that governments are on a mission to end cash.

The people won't put up with it though. Not just Bicoin but private currencies will rise to fill the gap. Think cigarettes in prison (which is effectively where we'll be) or people exchanging laundry detergent.

I agree. Add in some propaganda in the media. Associate cash with crime, poverty, germs, drugs. Very easy to do, very effective. The only thing that might make it hard is us, the people who are awake to (monetary) reality.

And the people who want to pay their cousin, the builder to work on their extension without tripling the cost in taxes and regulatory fees.

I think there's too many shorts to go straight down from here. We might have to go up enough to trigger some stop-losses on short positions before the next big wave down.

I opened a big leveraged short at 394.  I don't see how things are going to go up until the block size debate is resolved.  Or at the very least there is no longer a looming threat of a hard fork.

This isn't JUST a hard for but a reshuffling of the powers that be in core who are being paid by a private company to fund bitcoin (imo this entire debacle can be traced back to the foundation going belly up on funding development).

Until the two camps are united, core compromises on 2mb blocks or everyone in the community (exchanges etc) change their mind I see the drift downward as inevitable.

I do live in eternal fear of core announcing 2mb blocks and losing it all.  But I'm betting that if they haven't done it yet they aren't going to until hard fork is inevitable.

that is what everyone thought before .. however... the Marshal's Pump 2015 proved "All of US" wrong.... #bitcoinBizarroWorld

The common traders emotion, "Why does the price always go down after I buy and goes up right after I sell". Well we just need to wait for a little while for the price to push around the $390 mark again.

Is there a moderator around?

It is shocking, shocking that an outsized return from an investment with zero transparency is related to major illegal operations.  Who would have thought?
Where is your evidence? You state it like it is a truth.

It shocks me how prone people I would have thought better of are to slander. I don’t have anything against speculation and discussion, but saying someone is a criminal or (knowingly) connected to criminals is a serious accusation you better be able to back up.

So let me ask you, where is your evidence for GPUMAX and/or Bitcoin Savings & Trust being related to "major illegal operations"?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is withholding revealing and damaging information out of respect to all the members of this forum, especially Pirateat40. You think we all rely on google? Woof, woof.
Put up or shut up.

Speak up now, slanderers. Go and prove him wrong.

Or have the decency to apologize if you cannot.
