There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

We'll see double digits again, don't worry.
I'm still waiting for the single digits we've been promised all year by certain poseurs...

A correction is on the way, the 4th sub-sub-sub-wave of the second sub-sub-wave of the strongest sub-wave of wave 5.
There are now 16.5k coins on the ask side, but most waiting to be sold at higher prices.

Looks like that... Those walls appeared shortly after I got my meagre funds in.
Bitstamp is in a stand-off mode...

Looks like were hitting some resistance from Americans waking up and getting shaky fingers.  Usually at this point I would think we were in for some slowdown, but after seeing how we ate through the 10k wall yesterday I wouldn't be surprised if we were at 350 by this afternoon.

It is part of the wall that was around 260 that was pulled and moved higher, nothing fresh.

350 today is madness, in my opinion it is quite possible that we see 250 first, (as part of the final goodbye to anything 2XX).

It is already thursday, and in March it was generally the highest for the week. Weekend = crash.

Btw. does anyone know of a reliable leveraged platform for trading bitcoins? Bitfinex I know of. How about this?

Hmmm. That is positive thinking. So you are saying sub-310 = cheap coins ^^

I really wonder when this madness is going to stop, at this rate it's a matter of hours to 400 USD/BTC.
I'm all for insane rallies, but this environment gives you very little trading fun, buy and hold is the only winner here.

The Nature of this digital defationary currency.

Just to bring some perspective into current development. This is a 3-month Bitstamp log-scale chart.
The development was pretty linear up until 15-ish of October. After that, save for a small retraction at the end of October, it almost looks to go parabolic.

They freeze trading when the market is volatile potentially increasing their edge; however, they are a publicly traded company so probably not a flight by night operation.
