You can see it happening, ask sum up [DRAMA]13% in the last 30 mins[/DRAMA] which also happens to be.. 1500 coins.

But also quite a lot of tiny market sells, which there were none of before. Lots of people happy to cash out at these prices.

I keep my IRC client permanently idling in #mtgox now, to keep an eye on the drama there.

Actually though, they are holding up better than in the spring.

are you sure about that?

Cashing out on Gox? nah..... its a zero sum game, they just hope to sell high and buy low.

Musical chairs basically, some sellers will be holding a bag of mtgox USD!

Mt Gox needs to fix the BTC withdrawal issues so that people can pull coins out and sell on Coinbase. My local trading is less profitable when Coinbase prices are high.

They fixed the deposit problem, and a bunch of coins popped up on the exchange which then got sold out of fear and then bought all back up. Are we reaching some sort of point where flash crashes become harder and harder as more and more investors have picked a price they want to buy in and are happy with it?

What more "real" do you want?

Ppl cant withdraw their btc for days. They're supposed to just keep btc for customers right?

There is no excuse they cant process withdrawing within 24 hrs.

The amount of coins on sale on the exchange is shrinking fast. Only 6k on sale on BTCChina, 7k on Bitstamp, 11k on Gox.

This is the "all time low" in terms of BTC on sale. Just think about how Avalon holds 65k coins in one address.

In my opinion is not a very good sign, it would be better for the trend to be fueled by new money in instead of scarcity of supply - just because the scarcity can be easily reversed by only one big holder.

I guess this is the nature of "penny stock market", and BTC behaves completely as a penny stock market.

Tighten your seat belts.

The bold part is completely BS.

Can they explain why others with recent withdrawals only wait 24-36 hrs while some others have waited for 5 days! ?

I also notice smaller amounts are somehow "fixed".... sooner.

Fixing problems should be in order of the age of support ticket, not just small amounts that they can "fix" now. This is real regarding "fractional reserve"
