Someone pulled 10 out yesterday w/o trouble. Afaik there is an own thread on this matter on BT.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

going pretty parabolic here.  Cheesy

Parabolic is OK, even exponential is OK - hyperbolic is what you need to fear.

I think a weekend dip is on the cards. Not that it mattered much..

I like the market as long as every week is green, and this one will certainly be even after a dip.

DBZ is Japanese...

Back in the mtgox era I used to think watching mtgox was like watching DBZ.

My stuck coins that finally showed up from MtGox are now on Bitstamp. Thanks to the delay, I have made a handsome profit on those few. Now I have my original $ and some extra coins.

Edit:

Where is this stability around 280-300 we heard about? 328 already.

I guess we have the flash-crash to 250 to look forward too.

I'm still waiting for double digit btc withdrawal since 5th. For how long and how much btc you've withdrawn?

I did two withdraws:
2013/11/07 06:17:52   Withdraw    6.20000000
2013/11/07 06:04:46   Withdraw    1.98000000

They showed up at this address 1CAkY8dUtuMN9chZjGdbw6fXrqrXDqTRJt about 22 hours later after submitting a support ticket.

China is heading for 2k.

2,000.00 CNY = 328.304 USD

http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=2000&From=CNY&To=USD

2,000.00 CNY= 328.202 USD

Not quite jumping about in the exchange rate like the bitcoin is...

Not the highest price, but a nice picture just the same.

Which cause this...

Will gox EVER stop being a massive shitshow?

Unbelievable. At least we're ready for their inevitable failure this time.

I expected to hear about this here, but haven't seen it... Anyone heard about silk road reopening? What role might that have currently? Irrelevant?
