A long shake of the tree to remove weak hands before returning to the median line. The downwards channel we have been traveling appears ready to start changing shape soon, but I would say it has not as of yet. Continued discovery between $3.5k and $3.9k until this range is broken.

Still trending sideways and upwards towards $3.8k+ to finish off the month with a few buy the dip moments thrown in for good measure. #dyor

I still am inclined to believe that shit coins are coming along for at least one more btc pumpening
[..]

The main reason to hold on a little longer to all those creative coins  Cool

Surely, I do not advocate hanging onto any shitcoins, and I do not do so myself - even though I believe that there are decent chances that a good number of them will pump and come along with bitcoin's next pump.

In other words, I don't invest into bitcoin based on beliefs of price rises in the short-term future (or merely based on bitcoin being pumped from time to time), but instead based on my thoughts about bitcoin's long term fundamentals, distinguishing in terms of sound money and hedging against my other investments (which are not based on sound money ideas), which is long term confidence that BTC's price is going to be reflected by its fundamentals. There is no other coin, nor asset, so far, that comes even close to bitcoin, in terms of soundness of money.  We will see where that will lead us, including likelihood of ongoing bitcoin battles... even attempts to keep bitcoin's prices from rising, which I believe will likely be unsuccessful, especially if we are looking a few years into the future.

It's probably not a good idea to convert your pocket change into Bitcoin dust since the transfer fees would be more than the amount however if you have something like this - brb

Edit: apologies.  This is actually my daughter's bag of change (wrangled from her mother and I originally) so I had to answer 20 questions before I was allowed to borrow it!

There is probably over $50 in this bag.  As the denominations get smaller it becomes more of a pain to roll them and exchange them for bills.  The Coinstar machine is great for that though the fee is upwards of 10%.  Can't wait for the Bitcoin though!  I have TUBS of pennies to exchange Wink

10 % ? F...!

Couldn't this work like a faucet where you can only move your BTC once you have a minimum amount ?
LN and/or batched withdrawals should fix any tx fee issues. Or am I missing something?

Also, if I used cash at all I'd be happy to throw my change into a Bitcorn machine for a 10% fee. I lose most of the coins I have anyways or throw them into random tip jars and whatnot.

Grin will drop to 1% inflation 100 years from now in 2119. At that time 2.6 billion Grin coins will have been mined.

Grin is a lot of fun.  But it's still a shitcoin.  Don't sink your battleship before the most epic Bitcoin bull run ever.  Too many OGs did that with shitcoins last bullrun.

That includes you, JJG.

I am unclear.  Do you mean that I should NOT be tempted to buy Grin?  My post response to theymos was sarcastic.  Currently, I am not tempted to buy grin, and I don't give a shit if it is going to have a pumpening or not.

To the extent that I take any internet advices with a considerably large grain of salt, are you suggesting that I am making a mistake or not? or that I should not be tempted by grin?

Huh

How does it not make sense?  It plays upon the sterotype of Asian females desiring white male westerners, and typical, nerdy white dudes having some type of Asian female obsession.  The Asian females (although gold diggers) are less exposed to Jewish created, weaponized feminism that was designed to destroy the family unit.  The white, western woman has been programmed to literally be a biological weapon/enemy of men, while the Asian female, not as much so.

The western white women know they, themselves, are enormously demanding, bitchy, and seek an entirely asymmetric relationship of extraction from a man while wanting to be exempt from any type of expectations he might have of her. They know many of these traditional Asian women (even though gold diggers) will demand less from a man while supplying the man with more of whatever it is a man wants from a woman.  Allowing women like that to flood their society would lower the value of the entitled white women and knock them off their pedestal.

In other words, he's saying women don't give a shit about the George Soros/Kalergi plan to flood white civilizations with 3rd world brown people to destroy them because THEY'RE ALL MEN.  If George Soros was flooding the west with Asian women instead, the entitled white 'princesses' would be highly against it and trying to build a wall themselves even if the result was positive for the country as opposed to 3rd world brown males destroying it.

I already lost the hype on grin. I'd rather play games on my only graphics card than mining a coin which is going to go down for the next 2 years. Neither mining nor buying grins make sense at this point. I'll reconsider after a year.
