this is either a typical bull trap. or the most elaborate bear trap ever devised

I'm telling you now in no unequivocal words. We are in a bear trap. This is not April. This is completely different. We will chop for a while on the way to 1000. Maybe a few days, maybe a week or maybe a couple weeks. And then the flood gates are going to open and we will be parabolic sometime and somewhere over $1000 where there is no real resistance until we are at $1630, which is 10k on the Chinese exchna yes.

Heed these words.

I'm not sure if there is a delay, but blockchained.com is showing explosive amounts of USD sitting on Gox.

$32M ATH (maybe rpietila's fiat) :-)
where can you see that?

[..]

Not only that but reports such big huge numbers they probably had to alter their layout just to fit them in Smiley

k, funny Smiley But seriously, do you know if btc price coverage is part of their "routine" financial program, or just a irregular feature if we hit another ATH?

any bears left? xD

Me, and Wekkel. Everybody else is all in.

- Wekkel, do you by chance have 20,000 coins? Lets sell the crap out of this sucker's trap!
You might have been a big player before, but now you're just a small fish. Second Market alone has bought tens of thousands of coins, big players are entering the game and they will run all over you. Just hold!!

This totally THIS.
It happened before.

If you take anything from his ramblings, I feel bad for you son.

I have 99 problems but the mental insanity that apparently if inflicted upon rpietila's brain ain't 1.

You mean 'who' is AnonyMint?

He is someone whose name might better be AnnoyMint, AnnoyingMint, AnnoyedMint, AngryMint, PatronisingMint, ConspicicistMint?
His long-winded posts mainly consist of repeating 'bitCON is a ponzi and you're all going to end up in jail!'*

...which is a pity because for those patient enough to wade through his multiple-cross-posted-self-referring-posts there are actually some interesting points in there worthy of consideration.  I take my hat off to rpietila for finding value in AM's posts and trust that he or others will quote or present in a more digestable format anything of note the wider community should be considering.  I'm afraid I gave up after a few attempts reading/responding and he is now on my ignore list (AM, not rpietila)!

*  - which is also why he won't touch bitcoin with a barge pole and is supposedly in the process of developing a killer alt coin.

Which could eventually turn into a W formation. We'll see in a few hours.

If you take anything from his ramblings, I feel bad for you son.

I have 99 problems but the mental insanity that apparently if inflicted upon rpietila's brain ain't 1.

He may be crazy (i.e. not adhering to normal societal norms) but that does not mean he is not right!  In fact, I think rpietila should buy out the asks on a tiny exchange and then sell himself a tiny fraction to make it spike!  Epic counter-troll to the forum trolls :-)

But ignoring the specific value of 300 per mBTC, there is a feeling which he seems to have gotten correct (and other uberbulls, of course).  And that is that Bitcoin IS in a singularity period.  What I mean by that is nothing you do post Dec 31 will have much of an effect (on your portfolio) as the decisions you made pre Jan 1.
