just got back from our bi-weekly supply run, what a fucking chore

distancing with a shopping trolley is like playing a 90s 2D platformer

processing all the suspect packaging, re-dis-infecting the vehicle entry and control surfaces...pain in the bleeding ass

I wish I believed it would ever be "over"

clarification: not food shopping.

toys shopping. even that has been damped.

vehicle control surfaces? not sure how well covid lives on oil, mud, misc unidentified bits of nature etc in an open air vehicle.

Some people might use the word "karma":

https://globalnews.ca/news/6827299/coronavirus-toilet-paper/

Quote
A grocery store manager in Australia says he flatly refused to give a coronavirus hoarder a refund, after the shopper tried to return more than $10,000 Australian... worth of toilet paper and other supplies that he’d stockpiled to sell online.

...Paul Drake, who runs Drakes supermarket in Adelaide, says he gave the customer the middle finger after the man tried to return approximately 5,000 rolls of toilet paper and 150 one-litre bottles of hand sanitizer earlier this month....

...Drake says the man was a profiteer who’d been trying to sell the in-demand items online during the pandemic. He went back for a refund after eBay refused to let him sell the items at a steep markup...

...the shopper used a team of 20 buyers to snap up $10,000 worth of toilet paper when the crisis started.

Going long on a low-liquidity asset.

Interesting.  I had not even noticed.

Who would have thunk with so much pessimism that we are in a 5 week stretch, like you suggested.

We have about 51 hours before the weekly candle closes, and if it closes above $6,950 then it will be green.  What are the odds?    We only have a $100 cushion, currently, as I type.  50/50?  or maybe better than 50/50, since the stockmarket closed the week and the day, green?  Dow Jones UP almost 3% for today.. and maybe UP slightly less than 3% for the whole week.

The previous times we had 5 green weekly candles was March 2019 (also May2019), before we took off like a rocket. A similar setup looks likely.

Excellent news. Herd immunity usually kicks in around 65-70%.

So if we can infect that many people who have no symptoms, this thing will be wrapped up quite nicely quite quickly.

Lock up the immune compromised and let everyone out of their cages.

End of the pandemic.

Thanks for the great numbers. We're out of the woods on this now.

I´m very inclined to the $ 12K option, it is likely, the market recovery can happen at any time.

The lines
@MichaelFlaum
added are at $8k and $12k for this cycle.  It seems unlikely at this point but I'm still rooting for a $12k halving price (-40% from ATH).

Quote
Interesting looking at the drawdowns prior to the halvings. See dotted lines and circles. Great chart as always. The price of #bictoin can change very quickly.
