I think you store your private key in such a way is too risky. Your family members think it is not important to them. So they will not take care of your private key carefully. The possibility of losing will be very high. My solution is that you store in highly secure cloud storage applications that specialize in password management such as 1Password, Lastpass. The mechanism of these applications is 02-layer security. So you are assured of the security of your private key. Good luck.

Actually, you are correct that 1password or lastpass are probably better for just maintaining various passwords, and maybe some back up to authentication codes that allow the recovery of various passwords, but would not be good for private keys.   so yeah.. I just was thinking more about the password management aspect of that, so probably, I did not think through that scenario very well in terms of actually putting private keys in there....

I had not, actually, done anything like that for my private keys, but I have been finding the managing of passwords to be quite frustrating and so I was largely thinking about password managers as a kind of possible solution for getting some of the chaos of password managing in order.

I merited hung58 because I thought that he was bringing up some good points rather than my own thinking of following specifics, and in that regard, I also thought that hung58 made a decent point about the risk of giving too much information to some people (such as relatives or close friends) who might be kind of sloppy in their own managing of information, so if you give them your information, there is no real guarantee that they would be more protective of your information, and they might even be less protective of your information as compared with their own information...

Anyhow, it is not about NOT trusting those potential other persons, but the acknowledgement that some people are just sloppy as fuck with their own password management or even their personal information so if you give information to them regarding your personals, then maybe they end up posting that information on their fridge, but they make it more secure by posting it upside down, so that they don't forget that the information is important... which carries a decent amount of risk, too... which I believe is part of the issue (or potential problem) that hung58 was bringing out.

So I have this mental health issue where I  just prefer to be socially isolated and converse anonymously online. (and usually drink alone and be a prick)
Hmmmm... in these times,  maybe it wasn't a mental health issue after all, but rather some weird evolutionary survival  gene I inherited....

Hello everybody, had some catching up to do.
Hope everybody is ok, and my condolences to those of you who have lost friends.

Gas is so cheap right now that I'm actually driving more now then before the chinese fever, sometimes I just drive around on the country roads and enjoy the spring greenery.

I have also noticed that I did not have to make any adjustments to my lifestyle to follow the recommendations. I guess I'm more of a loner than I thought.

We still have no lockdowns and everything except high schools and other adult schools are open as usual. The only restriction is a ban on gatherings of 50 peoole or more and a strong recommendation to keep 2m apart, stay at home and only go shopping when necessary.
I hope it stays that way.

I am familiar with quite a few economics principles, including supply and demand principles. 
So don't go lording your bullshit supposed superior knowledge, when your comment in and of itself seems to be an  attempt at oversimplifying matters in such a way that just shows that you do not sufficiently understand the situation, and that you don't even seem to be trying to actually understand rather than belting out your nonsense armchair philosophies that make little to no sense.

If more and more people hoard supplies, that are not being produced, they would be creating an additional middle man (themselves as profiteers),  which they may be able to corner the market and/or also cause others to engage in the same kinds of profiteering/hoarding behaviors.  

Maybe after supply chains (production) ramp back up, they will be able to get back to normal and prices will migrate back down to normal, but in the meantime.. 1 month, 2 months or maybe even a year or more, there would be people who are incentivized to engage in hoarding and gouging behaviors... I am glad when they get fucked, like the toilet paper and hand-sanitizer hoarder in the above Adelaide example.

By the way, you likely had noticed that there were a lot of stores that had to adapt their policies after-the-fact to attempt to create purchasing limits on customers in order to attempt to allow customers to be able to buy supplies and food rather than one shopper coming into stores and strategically buying up all of the supplies.. and fucking the regular customers of those stores and causing even additional panicking.  Sometimes measures need to be taken to attempt to lessen some of the internal evils (or greed or desires to take advantage of a crisis of other people).

By the way, it looks like you might be in trouble if you were to have to make a break for your life (or safety) and try to walk or run through the city in the event that you need to get out... so hopefully, your deliveries and personal services continue at an affordable price (or one that is within your budget, not that $15 a day is likely to kill the budget of too many peeps of relatively modest means).
