"Just In" Yeah this event wasn't planned for 10 years or so at all...  Another unfair Argentinian penalty. Why did they not just give the trophy to Messi when he got off the plane a month ago? This match makes Netherlands look like they were the only worthy opponent in the entire World Cup and England look absolutely terrible. Plenty was fair call. I don't think this is the same France that played till semi finals. There is no rhythm in there game at all today. Hardly touched him. They didn't even check on VAR. |

The game sucked until 80mins in. Argentina constant handballs, cynical challenges, kicking the ball away during penalty shootouts, kicking the ball into the Dutch bench, lucky to get penalty shootouts at their supporters' side twice. They probably should have had a few red cards over the last 2-3 games. Undeserved champions in my book. But France had already won it several times recently so wouldn't have been much better either way. Back to Germany in 2024 for the Euros and USA/Canada World Cup in 2026. Regardless of who you support, I think we can all agree (except for the odd alpaca) that BTC should have made a new ATH by the latter.  |
