Seems Zelensky is ready to do things on Trump’s terms.

The funny thing was that he really believed he had some sort of choice.  He thought Trump wasn't going to take half of his country's minerals for what they took from us and would continue letting him pretend to be a tough guy while America sits behind him.  Now America is taking our cut and letting him stand alone.  Peace will be had within a month and we will get back something for all the money the Biden Administration laundered through Ukraine.  We finally have a President with some balls and all the handouts and grifting is going to stop.  Regular people are going to be shocked at how much they benefit once all the con artists are flushed out of government.  Regular people thriving means Bitcoin to the moon.

Yes... I know we are not friends.  Or perhaps we are... I am willing. But we have our differences... in the sense we do not know each other. In the sense we have differences in worldviews...

But what are friends?  People who love one another despite those sorts of differences.

Anyway... my heart goes to you.  You have mentioned your children before.  I have faced my own challenges.  Harder than I would want.  But not to that extent.  And I can only extrapolate my own suffering to a point that is only a shadow of yours.   

And I understand the political climate is unsettling... I have some different ideals and hopes.  But I am not comfortable either.

Its a crazy ride we are on.  If we let artificial differences divide us...  Then the darkness has won. 

I pray that between you and I that is not the case.  And we can stake our claim in the earth of one small island in the realm of peace.

Canada has such a huge number of great, kind, intelligent, beautiful and powerful people.  In my humble opinion YOU are among them.

Canada already had asymmetric tariffs on the US so it seems Trump may be making negotiating moves. Expect all sorts of bluster from both sides.

 Oh yeah, we have some rather large import taxes which is why I love going to the USA - so much more selection there and if I plan my stay right, I can bring back $800 worth of stuff duty-free.  I might bring back some US liquor to sell on the black market here since the dictator-posing-as-democratic-leader has had the alcohol removed from the shelves here, thereby taking the oh-so-difficult decision away from the peons who vote.  I'm about to go to the liquor store to see the devastation first-hand (on my way to Costco anyway - I love  my Costco!  Hope they don't take that away from me too for my own protection).

There is no dump continuation but there has been some enthusiastic buying within a short time frame. Right before the SR announcement. Something feels off.... Insider trading again before Trump talks about the strategic crypto reserves? Because we do not seem to be in a bear market yet.

I am pretty simple.  More center then left or right.

Death penalty = yes      
Universal medical = yes
illegal immigrants = no
defund the police = no
convict corrupt cops = yes that is CCC I coined it and should have been the mantra. Not defund the police.

over government is bad if you make under say 125k
over government is very complex if you are in the 125-800k range
over government is great if you make over say 800k.
ie fuck the rich they do not pay enough

leave the rest of of the middle class alone.

Here in the USA my home of 33 years went from a price value of 350k in 2019 to a price value of 650k in 2025

it is a standard average middle class home nothing special.

my property tax went from 5700 to 9700 in the same time.

In the supermarket yesterday 1 dozen Jumbo eggs = 10 usd they used to be 1.39 .

I know that my wife and I are not financially crushed but a lot of people in the USA are getting smashed down which makes a lot of angry people .
