We're going back to 80; I don't make the rules "Sell the news" event.
I dunno...currently, it is up on 1hr, 24hr and 7d charts. Well, well, well. How the turntables... Although admittedly anyone can be right about anything given a long enough timeframe. For one make the rules. One must understand the rules. Bitcoin has no rules.
I literally said I don't make the rules...

Heaven help us. They've just chosen a central banker to be Justin Sinclair's inexperienced replacement. Tax-orama.
Ontario recently became stronger but our federal government now rests on hopes a Trump wannabe from Alberta will win a majority.
Our choice in the upcoming election is almost a bad as Donnie Boy vs Hillary or Kamala... a bowl full of puke or a plate full of shit. Yuck.
At least Poilievre will reduce capital gains taxes. I still don't trust him though.

Here are slightly different numbers: https://bitbo.io/how-many-users/A pretty extensive analysis 106 mil owners (an estimate) On the left is a ball representing all 460 million bitcoin addresses to ever have a balance greater than 0.0 BTC. Of those, 288 million hold no bitcoin in them at all today. The remaining 172 million represent the bitcoin addresses that make regular bitcoin transactions. That can't be right. The data is from 2018, and 460 million used addresses could be correct (it's currenly over 1 billion). But I don't think there have ever been 172 million addresses funded at the same time. Long-term, that number is going up, and it's currently at only 52.58 million. I'm not counting people with coins in exchanges, that's not owning Bitcoin. Ok, but what is the denominator? Certainly not 8 bil people as many are children and/or have no money or almost no money. OECD is what, 1 bil?...then it is 5%, assuming 1/person, maybe 1% assuming 5 wallets/person.

BTW BTCis cheap so I will be buying corn today. just grabbed a bit buying dip ready for sub 80 soon as musky trumpeter should cool it off more Carney is another WEF puppet, and what's worse is that he's unelected. He has not been elected as an MP by the people; rather, he was selected by the Liberal party faithful to lead them since Trudeau was forced to step down. He has no mandate from Canadians to lead us. Since the Liberals don't hold a majority and can only govern at the behest of the NDP (who provide the seats necessary to maintain control), Carney has been advising Trudeau in the background for years. Trudeau was about to replace Freeland and appoint him as finance minister before the situation deteriorated and she walked away from Trudeau. I'm not sure Carney has any leverage to deal with Trump or that he will even get the support of the NDP to continue as PM. We might just end up having a snap election. Before he deals with Trump, he has to win the favour of the Canadian people and that might be tougher than winning over Trump.

The sooner the election, the better. Let's get it over with. Still, as I said, plate full of shit or bowl full of puke. What's worse... an Alberta redneck or a central banker?

What made Trudeau so bad was it how he handled covid? I know the Canada guys posting here don't like him but the info I get in the states is so fucking slanted I don't know much about him. Although they would give a ton of info on the two brothers that were mayor for Toronto. I think they were crack heads and died? Don't recall their names. Rob Ford I think?

Don't recall their names.
Rob Ford I think?
Rob and Doug Ford were two sons of a career politician in the Toronto suburb of Etobicoke. Rob was the crackhead who became mayor. He's deceased. His brother Doug was the smart one. He ran a successful and lucrative hashish selling business in a park in Etobicoke in the 1980s. A friend of mine used to sell him boxes of kilos of Afghani hash (stamped Romeo and Juliet) and he managed to avoid prosecution due to family connections and astute dealings with local police. Doug went on to become Ontario's premier and recently gained an increased mandate in a snap election due to his staunch resistance to Trump's bullshit. Doug's a winner. _______ Woke up this morning and decided to fact-check what I wrote last night to see if my memory served me right. I found this: https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/toronto/globe-investigation-the-ford-familys-history-with-drug-dealing/article12153014/It was written 14 years ago when Rob and Doug were still in Toronto's city hall.and I'm amazed it's still available. I guess that shows how powerful the Globe and Mail still is. I grabbed a copy of the HTML file for posterity. P.S. The Romeo and Juliet stamps were two different products. A quick google image search showed nothing resembling the originals, which were crudely hand-carved stamps. The Juliet stamp almost looked like it said "Jullet". I guess the newer stamps are trying to harken back to a time fondly remembered by old-timers.
