No, Ukraine is not winning, it's not losing either. It has already LOST!

There are two possible scenarios: capitulation, loss of statehood and being annexed to Russia or peace talks and losing 25% of it's territory (maybe more) forever.  

So, in what parallel reality Ukraine is winning?

The only people who are winning in the war on Ukraine is the American politicians who are laundering money for their family through Ukraine (see: Biden crime family) and the Ukrainian politicians who are taking a cut for helping them (see: Zelenskyy and his wife).  No citizens from either America, Ukraine, or Russia are seeing any benefit from this war whatsoever.  You could maybe make the argument Russia is reenforcing agreements with NATO and America is getting minerals out of the deal, but what did Ukraine get?  They fucked around on behalf of NATO and found out.

You have just said a bitter truth. The war is a highly political motivated war that Ukrainian and American politicians are leveraging the opportunity for their business transaction at the detriment of the innocent citizens. I don't see any significant reason for Ukraine to embark war with Rusia because the root caused of this war does not worth the war, the economic lost and life of innocent citizens.
There is need for Rusia and Ukraine to consider a peaceful dialogue that end the war and peacefully coexist as neighbors.

Takes at least 200K btc out off circulation for now and removes the risk of a sudden sell.
Mildly bullish as no expenditures are projected.
Market reacts with a yawn..for now(5% down).
Maybe something more exciting is in the "works" for tomorrow's meet.

What are they even thinking

They're thinking it is a big disappointment to use seized Bitcoin for this instead of announcing a buying plan, as the rumor going around is that Trump is going to put in place a plan to buy 1 million BTC over the next 4 years.  I believe that announcement was rumored for tomorrow, so this would be setting the stage for it. 

I think everyone knew this executive order was coming, so I don't feel one way or another about it.  I do have high hopes for tomorrow and would understand a selloff if no announcement was made about buying Bitcoin for the reserve going forward.
