Not sure yet, but i possibly got goxxed out of ~6 real btc by bitcoinbuilder
You mean you had a problem with Bitcoinbuilder, or are going to lose 6BTC when Gox goes bankrupt? had ~3 real btc on withdraw 15 hours ago and they are vanished, contacted the support and they "dont see it in their history". Also sold some goxbtc for ~3btc but these 3btc never appeared in my balance. So in total about 6real btc vanished somewhere, no help from the support so far.

Problem is that yesterday these withdrawals were noted in the "account history", but now they are gone, no sign of them at all, and the support tells me they never happed. Also my real btc balance shows a negative value, lol

800btc wall at 580$ on stamp. Wasn't this wall 10 hours ago at 599$?
One question: Does it make sense as a big whale to try to keep the price with such walls down? Maybe because the price rise is to quick?

It makes sense to sell into a 50% increase out of nowhere, near major resistance levels.

Log in and back out several times?

Can you tie up the bitcoinbuilder history to block chain transaction ID's? So, if you deposited in real BTC, then you will have the transaction ID? Or did everything originally come from Gox?

Roughly speaking a protocol is merely an agreed upon way of communication. It is neutral in the sense that the protocol is well defined and you are free to implement code that is compliant with the protocol.
The unit price has absolutely nothing to do with this. In a system where you want to exchange ownership of something you need to actually create that something. Either you put it all in at the start or you add it. To stick with the protocol concept. Altcoins that are forks of bitcoin are merely modifications of the protocol where these aspects were changed.
And here we can see the difference. The bitcoin source code could be defined as an protocol. A neutral piece of software that you can use to build different applications on. But bitcoin(tm) itself is a speficic brand of service, that is only based on the protocol. When unit price is involved then it doesn't resemble anything else that has been called a protocol in the field of information technology. It's like someone creating the IMAP protocol, and at the same time creating an IMAP using e-mail service and calling the service itself "the IMAP protocol" I think you completely misunderstand what bitcoin as a protocol is. You have units of account (bitcoins and fractions of bitcoins) that can be owned using public/private key encryption and a distributed ledger where probabilistic agreement is reached on transactions and new coin creation. There is nothing that says what that bitcoin represents. The market is giving it a certain value but in itself it is merely a ledger of numeric values attributed to addresses that can be exchanged. If everyone agreed that bitcoins represented beanie babies then that is what it would be. What you are kind of arguing is that there should exist a meta protocol of which bitcoin is a particular implementation. That is essentially a blueprint for arbitrary cryptocurrencies but you still would have to create specific implementations from it. [edit] incorrect wording Just because people give bitcoins a currency value does not mean that in essence it is NOT a protocol

i have a saved acc history file from y-day that shows the withdrawals, but if i go to my account now and compare them - they are way different, withdrawals gone, some other trades possibly gone too.

Put up or shut up time soon asshole ... you want to accuse people of being leeches and having wet dreams, the fact is where the fuck were you when we were building this for you to criticise? Nowhere to be seen. ... Now where are your other "smart enough people to create alternatives"? Oh that's right, they're right fucking here emulating us, and flocking in droves to do the same things we were thinking about 4 years ago. Face it you are so far behind the curve you're not even worth discussing things with ... mostly you are like a curiosity, a plaything for our amusement, with your dumb questions and nagging attitude. Please do put me on ignore, it would be an honour coming from a jumped up little twerp like you.
Calm down son, you will give yourself a stroke. In the middle of all of these desperate attempts to insult, I also found something interesting "we were building this". Tell me, what were you building exactly?

I have deposited some real btc to them, yes OK, so download the account history csv (from the account page), and match up deposits (it gives trans ID in the csv) and your trades and you should be able to see at what point your 6BTC disappeared, and what transaction caused it.

Got an email I'm very very sorry about this, but what happened was our system erroenously allowed you to hold a negative balance on your "real BTC" side for a while.. essentially an interest-free loan that allowed you to buy more GOXBTC than you should have. The system has some sanity checks around withdrawals however that does not allow them while you have a negative balance, which is why yours didn't go through. Unfortunately at the point the ways to get to a positive balance are either deposit more real BTC or trade your GOXBTC back into real btc. I have wiped out all your trading fees to help a little bit with this.
Rofl this is pure theft, i just lost a bunch of btc.
