This is fucking insane, i have a negative balance and even if i sell every goxbtc i have i will still be in the negative. Nice scamming Josh.
But maybe you were accidentally credited with more BTC than you deposited some how. Like Fluidjax said, can you go through the transaction log and pin point where the mistake occurred? If you lost BTC, either the accounting won't add up, or they'd need to fudge losing trades that you didn't make, right?

So you bought GOXBTC and put you account in negative balance without asking yourself what's going on ? -61% on 24h, i feel your pain... Not sure if you even contact the support if it was +61% Wrong, first of all there was no showing of negative balance or anything like that till todays morning. Also, i did not buy, i sold, their calculations and account history are fucked up and is a pure mess.

It's wrong ? If yes, it's a problem. If no, it's on you to saw a problem and report it only if you lose your ass on it instead of gamble on a rise Download your trade history and try to figure out

I apologize, you are absolutely correct! I have wiped out the erroneous "loan" by personally filling an order to sell GOXBTC at your average buy/sell price on your account, .29520670 (about 7x the market rate now). This has the exact mathematical effect of making it as though the negative balances never happened.
I'm sorry again for the hassles, and we're doing our best to be as legitimate an exchange as possible!
Thanks, Josh Jones
Well at least that's something, but some btc is probably still missing, its hard to calculate now how much exactly because the account history is a mess that adds negative balance to the random trades for weird reasons

This is why I was checking everything after any bitcoinbuilder trade and then seeing if it added up after I also thought they had short changed me on a trade. Cant expect much really and at least you got a proper reply...

Got an email I'm very very sorry about this, but what happened was our system erroenously allowed you to hold a negative balance on your "real BTC" side for a while.. essentially an interest-free loan that allowed you to buy more GOXBTC than you should have. The system has some sanity checks around withdrawals however that does not allow them while you have a negative balance, which is why yours didn't go through. Unfortunately at the point the ways to get to a positive balance are either deposit more real BTC or trade your GOXBTC back into real btc. I have wiped out all your trading fees to help a little bit with this.
Rofl this is pure theft, i just lost a bunch of btc. How much did you put in the first place? I do not think it is scam. Just pure incompetence.

Here is why the gox situation is so fucked up and it has to be fixed and not forgotten, I really don't give a shit about gox and I don't want them to come back but users should be refunded. source: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1z2wj5/mtgox_heres_what_i_lost_what_did_you_loose/[mtgox] Here's what I lost... What did you loose? (self.Bitcoin) submitted 4 minutes ago by callmark81345501529 2009 Lost my wife, dog, business, and truck (no particular order). Yeah it's a sad country song too... I worked my ass off and saved everything that I didn't eat, only made necessary purchases, and that was used cheap items when absolutely needed, cheap cheap cheap... Saw bitcoins in 2010/11 followed and I didn't get in because WIRED magazine online had a bad article about it. Then, in 2013 I put half of my money into Bitcoins, via Gox. Mark Karpeles, you owe a LOT more than these nibbles of carrots of useless noise & remarks which you've put in front of us like a bowl of vomit for dinner. Mark Karpeles, you are feeding us information the way the NAZIS fed the prisoners in camps. If you fed us information the way you feed yourself, perhaps we could have some kind of settled feeling of what the fuck has happened to our hard earned money. Mark Karpeles, where is my money? Mark Karpeles, where are my bitcoins? Mark Karpeles, what the fuck? Sincerely, One of your 1 million customers. and dont give me "you should invest only what you can afford to lose" and " he is stupid because he left money there" , if you want bitcoin to go mainstream and be a success and if you are a truly believer of Bitcoin and not only a speculator, you should never tell that to anyone, otherwise by accepting the Mtgox closure just like that we are telling the world that Bitcoin is a Ponzi...

You guys make such a big deal out of the smallest things. "a 700btc order was purchased. The price went up 1%". It's just like sports commentators. "Wow he threw the ball".
