LOL LFC_bitcoin <3

Yup, < $300 bitcoins will never happen! Right bulltards?

I thought 2013 was the last time to buy for less than $1,000?

We realise you are probably leveraged and underwater, but calling someone who is bullish a 'bulltard' just makes you come across badly.

I'm not "leveraged" in anything. Not as dumb as you bulltards to entrust a third party bitcoin exchange based out of some backwater third world country to my assets. I invest in real markets and companies with actual value.

Remember, this is a "revolutionary" technology that dropped 80% in value over the past year. Funny that I can't remember any other revolutionary technologies over the past 100 years that plummeted in value 6 years after their invention, and after pretty much everyone knew about them and still decided not to use them.

I don't remember anyone inventing P2P money before either. I'm pretty sure this is a new thing.  Let me check... yup it's new, first time thinga-ma-jig!

How many thousands of % did it go up before the drop, again?

You're right, speculative bubbles usually rise dramatically before they pop. That means it's a revolutionary technology? Were Dutch tulips also a radical new technology and sound investment, because they rose thousands of percent in value before they crashed?  Huh

Ok cool

Next time he gets an attitude with you, just hit him with this one:

Attitude? Where do you see attitude? Do I sense some jealousy?

Quote
I totally screwed up.
I fucked up every trade.
'screwed up' doesn't necessarily mean making losses now does it?

Must. Get. Rid. Of. The Fear.

I managed to do. Did you do as well?

Quote
and. emotion.

Did not get rid of the emotion. I bought bitcoin at €221,- which was exactly at the bottom. with a market order.
Should have a screenshot somewhere, knew it was a historic trade. Gonna frame it in and put it on a wall soon.

Let's get ready for 252.
You are right, I was very wrong again, it went to 255 instead. Smiley Dammit, another 'screwed up'. Lost a maximum opportunity again... if I sticked to the number, which I didn't. But hey, what can you expect from a prediction at december 23rd, weeks ago.

I'm a poor bastard. If you like my comment you can donate to *snip* My total stack is <25 BTC
Cheesy

Since you ended your quote with a smiley I suggest you to start donating right now

Love you. Kiss Kiss

Taken straight out of it context I think it's a pretty honest post.

And you too.

Invest in low cost index funds, just as Mr. Buffet recommends. But of course, Warren Buffet is an idiot and doesn't know anything about money, according to this forum.  Cheesy Cheesy

So Dan Morehead removed Bitstamp from their website but now he put it back?

I happen to be in the process of making a physical coin together with someone else.
If you think there would be real demand I honestly consider to make it, why not. Smiley

It's hilarious, and telling, to me that he replied with "Tulips blah blah" instead of answering the question.

Bitcoin was sitting at $67.21 on 7/7/2013, FFS

That's nice, if there is still someone out there who is dumb enough to not see through bitcoin as a pump and dump scheme, then printing tulips right on the physical coins themselves might be enough to get through to them!

Of course Mr Buffett the billionaire speaks wise words of investment wisdom, but I wondered specifically which named low cost index funds you are invested / would invest in. Or business sector you would invest in.

Most contributors to this forum would at a guess would have the bulk of their investments in real markets and companies as you say with a smaller but high risk punt on Bitcoin and possibly other unusual opportunities.

Although I am a grad student with little expendable fiat, I will buy a bulb for sure! So funny when/if BTC rockets to show some old skeptic that shit. And if/when BTC bites dust, the hilarious and worthless bulb in my hand will bring a tear of nostalgia to my eye.

Anyway, depending on your concept/product, demand= 1
