So I guess someone is cashing out on their bitcoin money laundering operation.
And they time it to match some kind of news event so it'll look legit.

btc swap rates now higher than usd..
edit: only 400 coins left to borrow..

This is indeed an interesting metric. If everything has been dumped what *can* be dumped... Where do we go from there?

In what measure? bfxdata.com I know where it is, but when I read it it says Longs 26.6 million USD. And Shorts 27 456 BTC, which is roughly 6 million USD.

It is not the absolutes..because the long position is historically always far larger (since you can be long in btc). But shorting is somewhat different.. you can only short (and sell on exchange) what someone is willing to lend. Click the btc swaps window and you can see the swap rates demand and supply and the coin supply. It allows you to see this move was planned. The only number range that matters is 200-213. If we stay above that then this is just traders keeping us as far from the falling down trendline as they can for as long as they can..

Just closed it. Maybe a good time to go long... Yep it is certainly taking a whole lot of coin to move the price down 12 dollars these days..

I just coined the new name of previously altruistic scaling problem fixers Blockstream:
Cockblockstream!
(I know, I should have been a stand up comedian.)
I missed you bro, no see within few days. Would like to hear from you about the current situation. Thanks! Current situation: The bitcoin-buying bank (Nordea) are not comming to my bitcoin meetup on friday due to their "neutral approach". BUT: A bigger norwegian bank chose to come! We need these banksters to on-ramp bitcoin. And the banks sitting on the fence are going to be left behind. I actually see several tasks for banks in a scenario where bitcoin has become the default currency, and I see more tasks for them in the transition period we are in now. On friday, I will also reveal my new, free, open source project of the "Tinfoil Dice HD Wallet" during the meetup. The most secure way to create a wallet you can use the rest of your life. (Well, that's what I think, but I could be wrong, lol). I will publish my shit here, before I publish it on reddit. On saturday or sunday, depending on how heavy my hangover is

I've been quite amazed by the butter finger behavior with the btc... It didn't hold late last week at 240 and move up from there, and since then it's just been a cynical sell off... I dunno what compels people to buy or sell... 248 2 weeks ago... then drop down again and then back up to hit 241... and then melt down into the 30s then finally whales dropping 222. It just looks orchestrated and artificial... all of it. It doesn't seem to take much to move people in a direction. I dunno how price manipulation would work exactly, but it does seem manipulated.
