I was expecting some kind of positive price reaction to Gemini opening today. It's still early in the US though right?

Gemini - no bids at all? No one has transferred any $$ there, only BTC?

Lol. Nothing happens, shocker. No bids, no sells, no trades. Also such a bad move to not have a public ticker, AND don't allow non-US people to even create an account and watch the orderbook. I'm looking at this one, but I'm not sure if that's even accurate. If it is, that's pretty sad man, because that means literally no-one is biting. Edit// whoop there we go. Talk about the devil. It seems like their public ticker has been fitted with a 10 minute delay - well played Winklevoss. I can already see them creating a shitstorm on their own exchange, only to play the right moves in the 10 minute time they have on all other major exchanges. What an orderbook though. There's a few thousand dollar on the board.

It's a very slow start. Only about 10 coins for sale at a reasonable price. Only a couple thousand dollars in bid orders. It takes a while for everybody to register their accounts and fill the exchange. I was expecting the winklevii to put a bunch of their coins for sale to start the ball rolling.

There's already a bitcoinity page showing the Gemini order book. http://bitcoinity.org/markets/gemini/USD This screenshot of their order book was posted by someone in the Bitcoin discussion board. It's showing more orders than bitcoinity because bitcoinity's default setting is to group all consecutive trades at the same price into one entry.

Would be interesting to know which of those bids is from the major institutional investors i keep hearing about
