waiting for da boom

Big pockets don't hang in the WO thread. I expect a Bloody Fan-Blimmin-Tastic Sunday!!!

Heartbreaking.

Ok, you're big pockets, but you just use your privilege to spit on the peasants.

I'm neither big pockets nor do I figure in this, in any way. Not buying/selling the news.
But "big pockets" (who care about the outcome of this meeting) not acting for 24hrs after the fact? If that sort of thing happened, people hanging on this forum would be filthy rich.

Fuks given = ZERO

Silly bulls. Treaty of Versailles lasting victory pump failed? Cheesy

But then, they somehow also have to deal with the fact that in the white paper, Moses Satoshi mentions the terms "Electronic Cash" twice, "payment" (in a non-technical sense) 6 times, but the term "artificial scarcity driven clearance network" exactly zero times.
The title - "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System".

What Satoshi proposed is a monetary system, not a payment system. The monetary form is electronic cash under the name of Bitcoin. The blockchain is the system that ensures the very existence of the monetary form. ...

Caveat: Bitcoin is a special kind of money, not to be used for payment. It is not for spending, it is to hodl! Like gold. Or feces, for those who failed to transcend the anal-retentive phase.

I finally realized who Satoshi is. It is so obvious now.

Praise Bob!

Mows exchange about how consensus was reached is a good laugh. Any pools tweets seem to suggest continued sw reservations and desire simply for hf. I guess they're keeping classic in the table for pressure until we see some results? Hope to see 460d again soon anyway. Feels like a nice reprieve.

Right?  Very well done. As an aside, I thought mows discussion of  blockstream in the satire was interesting. He discussed blockstream as bringing happy meal toys and having everyone drink their kool-aid. Its like the miners see two sides of core now. /shrug

 A few favorites:

"9:59 AM: Core devs gather in dark corner and begin the chanting the Song of Bitcoin Destruction."

"10:02 AM: Peter Todd's head swings wildly from side to side as the cacophony of voices incanting "1 MB" reaches a pitched crescendo."

"11:37 AM: Coffee break. Matt Corallo consumes the life essence of another Smurf. His ghostly white hair regains the familiar blue tint."

A drunk sailor forcing a kiss? Shocker, boys coming back from war are usually so demure and polite... Of course she didn't expect it, look at her body language (hand stiff and by her side). Douche move, worse than Hitler (who never forced his attentions on anyone, AFAIK) but, so what?
And losing her family in the Holocaust plays into this ...how?
