I don't understand all this rivalry between Bitcoin and Ethereum. They serve different purposes.
It's like arguing which is better, pie or ice cream. Some people like both.
Now if you want to compare Bitcoin and Ethereum to fiat currencies, that's a different matter.
That's like comparing pie and ice cream with a steaming pile of shit.
I don't understand all this rivalry between Burger King and Maccy D's. Some people like both. Now if you want to compare Burger King and Maccy D's to KFCees, that's a different matter. Cheeseburgers rulez!

Ding dong, the witch is dead!
Ethereum pumper only has 2000 BTC left to support before his pump collapses and Ethereum drops back down to 0.016 or worse. Your daily, why Ethereum is a useless scamcoin post here: The Ethereum Paradoxhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1361602.0Why proof of stake has no value: Since Satoshi did not solve the Byzantine generals problem, this means confirmations are completely arbitrary. So why are two confirmations more useful in Bitcoin (PoW) than one? Because it's an open entropy system where over a period of time, it's either unlikely or statistically impossible for someone to maintain a monopoly on block validation when there is no upper limit to confirmations. Recursive systems like proof of stake tend to permanently monopolize block validation by design, with no real fault or state recovery to fix it once it goes off the rails. The act of introducing interest compounds this problem even more. This makes a proof of stake confirmation essentially worthless due to being a bounded entropy system. On top of being worthless, proof of stake is also a permissioned ledger. The purpose of mining in Bitcoin is to create a permanent decentralized exchange peg, which thus results in a permissionless system.

By infesting them with a creepy, misfolded protein molecule that turns their brains into runny Swiss cheese? I knew it! @r0ach: Roaches are good at many things, like being disgusting and scurrying. FUDing, tho, ain't one of them

Chooing ahead slowly but surely What's it like, having to lie all the time? (original below) If you look at the inclination of the people, it is clear that the train is heading upwards, but less so than in the first post. Quite a good analogy for bitcoin I would say, heading up, but slower than the fans expect/ would like.

Quite a good analogy for bitcoin I would say, heading up, but slower than the fans expect/ would like. Yeah, the load just shifted, pushing those bitcoiners. The train is careening down, bitcoiners careening even faster. And will continue to do so until come in contact with the tracks, directly in front of the choo. Which will, in accordance with numerous laws of Newtonian physics, decelerate the hapless bitcoiners under the murderous wheels of the cooch. Couldn't have scripted it better myself

Bears only eat honey. Stop pooping all over the place, and the smell will (eventually) disappear. OTOH, it's your only contribution to society (until you become bear food). http://www.zealand-deals.nz/offer-detail/rc-bullshit-button/102131.htmlThis one special deal for you. You get your own BS-O-Matic. For those special moments, when trolling on the internet isn't enough.

Quite a good analogy for bitcoin I would say, heading up, but slower than the fans expect/ would like. The train is heading slightly downhill. The main trestle supports are pointing to the earth's center, not tilted backwards relative to the normal component of the load. The people are riding upright, not with their center of gravity outside their foundation. The people would not be positioned downhill from the load in an uphill-pointed car. The hills in the background also indicate the trestle is heading slightly downhill.

I wouldn't be holding it right now. The longer-term momentum indicators have the potential to turn very negative here.

Shouldn't the poll say on June 30th the price will be .. instead of on May 31st the price will be ..? We know what it was on May 31st so there's no point voting any more.
