Slave report. I am currently in Riverside Park overlooking the placid Hudson River on a 1-2 hour break in my 15 hour work day. I wonder what the price will be next week. I wonder if I will be working on my day off tomorrow.
All your money won't another minute buy. Touche However I would like to enjoy those minutes. A year and a half ago I had one can of beans on the shelf and owed multiple people and businesses money. This was after an extended time taking care of family at the end of life with little in the way of income. No inheritance. This old man should be retired soon, there is that word again Crypto is my retirement account. The other way to enjoy those minutes is compressing morbidity. In answer to my questions; I will most likely have 2 days off and it doesn't look like the btc will be going down much. There is definite upward pressure. As stated before when I noticed the pressure a few weeks ago after extended sideways, I bought over a few weeks at around 450 and when I ran out of fiat up we went. My last buy was during the last fakeout to ~435.

It appears you may be a paid shill using a proxy service and accidentally gave that away... I don't know whether the amount they paid is correct, but Bitfinex did announce they reached a settlement with the US CFTC. It's top of the Bitfinex announcements page. I quoted the whole announcement below, although I couldn't find an amount paid in it. https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/108Announcements > Bitfinex and CFTC reach settlement June 02, 2016 Today, the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) issued an order instituting proceedings against BFXNA Inc. (BFXNA), an entity that conducts business with U.S. customers through the website www.bitfinex.com. In the order, the CFTC accepted BFXNA’s offer of settlement to resolve certain alleged violations of the U.S. Commodity Exchange Act (the Act). A copy of the order is here. In the order and settlement, the CFTC found that BFXNA violated sections 4(a) and 4d(a) of the Act. BFXNA neither admits nor denies the CFTC findings in the order and settlement. Bitfinex proactively contacted the CFTC in September 2015—before the CFTC announced enforcement action involving bitcoin trading platforms—to provide information about Bitfinex related to a potential investigation. According to the order, "Bitfinex’s cooperation with the Commission’s investigation was significant … Bitfinex consistently responded to requests for information fully and quickly, both in writing and via oral presentations." In response to these constructive discussions with the CFTC’s Division of Enforcement, BFXNA has made significant changes to the way in which U.S. customers engage in financed trading on Bitfinex. Bitfinex remains committed to continually improving its customers’ experience while complying with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. In closing, we are pleased to announce this settlement with the CFTC. The CFTC has engaged in a productive, open, and timely dialogue with us, and, as a result, we believe we have a better understanding of the regulatory framework governing financed trading on our platform. The Division of Enforcement has demonstrated that, while they will work diligently to enforce existing rules even as they apply them to new markets, they also are sensitive to innovation and development in sectors that the CFTC regulates. We look forward to providing best-in-class service to U.S. customers. We will continually work to make our customers’ experience safer and better. <edit> Themerkle confirms the amount of 75k is correct. http://themerkle.com/cftc-hits-digital-currency-exchange-bitfinex-with-75k-fine/

It appears you may be a paid shill using a proxy service and accidentally gave that away... You don't use proxies on bitcointalk?! Why don't you just walk right over to the nearest synagogue and surrender? It's like you're *trying* to get chipped! Those Zionist shills surely backtraced you already, to +-27cm in all 3 dimensions, probably already paintin' you with infrared lasers, ram a gentile-seeking Jew missile up your butt sooner than you can say oy vey!! P.S. Corrected the link for you, but, if by some miracle you escape the hebrecabal, always double=bag, like so: http://s33.postimg.org/4tgd91vj3/Capture.gif

The market has built in the expectation that these spikes will always collapse. It will come as a shock when one does not... The emotional trend is that the price of Bitcoin is not satisfying enough to be sold for a cheap price of $500-600$. For me personally a reasonable price would be 50.000$ - 80.0000$ per coin ( yeah 50k - 80k ... not a typo!) ... but till then I will want to see the markets bleed supply!

in France, gov. have kill people in syrie and africa for human migration and plutonium ressources. gov. don't have asking this to the people because they can create DEBT from the people without asking.
So... France has an INTER-DIMENSIONAL PORTAL that can jump them to Syria and Africa to kill people and yank out migrants and plutonium?I got news 4 you, camel boy... France merely purchased those resources. The human migration is being stirred up by the EU and ISIS to support the New World Order.

Greg and the rest of core not participating never agreed to the HK agreement, thus nothing has been breached. If Luke doesn't deliver a HF proposal to the miners in July you can make this claim. It was made abundantly clear at the meeting that the signers didn't speak for others. Whether this HF gets accepted by the community or not is an entirely different matter.

I might be reading this wrong, but it looks like segwit is going to be maxed out shortly after it's released. If it's released. And if it's adopted by miners and users. When did 3.7mb turn into 2mb?

r/btc ??
Ok.. hard to tell what the FUD is going on in there.. so I avoid it. But wasn't the 'plan' or according to some 'announcement' that a HF would come NEXT YEAR i.e. 2017 And that HF was 1->2 MB max block size increase...
This was apparently agreed upon to be rolled out NEXT Year.. specifically around July time.. with the caveat 'if there is a demand/need for it'
It was generally agreed to roll out SEGWIT this year.. see how things go and move towards a HF next year.
At least that is how i remember the news coming out.
Too many people with agendas on r/btc and they have become used to taking entrenched positions.
Personally, I think it's too early to start pissing your pants about something that is officially still a year off.. a lot can happen in that time. Such behaviour is typical of that place.
One person asked a question as to what is the current status of a HF. IMHO that's a shitty question when the world and it's dog knows it was scheduled for next year. Then a bunch of fools answer, screaming like kids.. core this.. blah blah.. aren't you fucking sick of it? They probably don'T even own a significant number of bitcoins. Just like flaming and causing trouble.

I understand youre frustration, it feels like ages. Segwit is under testing atm.
I can understand why it takes time, but my prime annoyance would be others holding its implementation hostage to force other changes. I read one of the Chinese pools were saying they wouldn't drop it in without a block size increase too. No doubt there'll be the r/btc freaks clubbing together to fuck things up too. Then we have another few years of pointless dicking around and playground diplomacy. That's just part of the nature of peer to peer systems.... If no one is running the show, then there is going to be some frustrations and some posturing to influence the direction one way or another. In the end, currently bitcoin is in a very positive position at the moment having staved off some of the bullshit catastrophes that would have likely resulted if either XT or Classic hard forks would have been triggered... it is a very good thing that currently, we are not even close to having any kind of XT or Classic hardfork, and it seems that a lot of very decent lessons have been learned concerning those earlier coop attempts... so in that regard, bitcoin is stronger rather than weaker by having gone through such attacks and come out with a fairly decent road plan including seg wit and other potential developments down the road (that may or may not include an actual hard increase to the blocksize limit).
