Jupiter ... But Brexist ... HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!! ... 51.4% Out - 48.6% In from a count of 70%+ of the votes counted! This is going to be a global catastrophe! *Edit: 51.1% Out - 48.9% InWe're not anywhere near 70% counted. More like 5%. I think it is for England ... N. Ireland / Scotland will have huge percentages for "In".*Edit: ... Yep .. just like ~5% where counted till now...

i dunno i have kind of a strange feeling about that brexit thing. it would obv propel bitcoin prices higher nevertheless i am not really happy about that. EU is a big bureaucratic monster because it was built by france which made just an exact copy of their shitty system, nevertheless i dont really like that brexit thing. but less see...

I hope for Britain to leave the EU.
Brits are idiots ... they will lose very much if they leave! ... The other EU nations already made some kind of silent pact not to help UK if they leave. Because if they leave and can still make economic pacts, this shows weakness and other countries might leave as well.

£GBP is free-falling hasnt to be that bad for GB. nevertheless they knew that would happen, they have been warned. It is bad for the UK, but it doesn't matter. This is about emotions, not about money. EDIT: Historian Simon Schama comments dramatically on UK secession, saying Scotland will not be coerced into leaving the EU. Meanwhile EU-CN gap widens to €20.

When does Simon Schama not talk dramatically. The failed currency union of the EU is bound to unravel sooner or later anyway. No monetary union without fiscal union - the current mess in Greece and in other southern and periphery nations is a result of this halfway house. When you hear a government talking about reparations from Germany for WWII, you begin to see the heavy irony of a project once designed to seed harmony in to the hearts of the disparate peoples of Europe.
