Lower, not low, for me I still think 51,025,700 is significant for a weekend, in my modest opinion

Lower, not low, for me I still think 51,025,700 is significant for a weekend, in my modest opinion I remember hearing from a few years ago, that coinmarketcap had removed some of the chinese (CNY/BTC pairings) exchanges in terms of figuring out how to calculate volume, so recently I had not clicked on the volume link in which it provides more detail regarding how they arrived at volume... Wow? I had also not realized how high coinsbank was listed on there (which used to be bitx), and also surprising that localbitcoins is not even listed on there... I suppose no matter what they are attempting to create a somewhat accurate volume indicator, even if they remove some the apparent outliers that would have seemed to have been skewing the numbers.

Bitcoinland is so, so quiet.....
Unexpectedly quiet, when most bitcoiners were planning how to manage their new wealth after the highly expected halving.

Bitcoinland is so, so quiet.....
Unexpectedly quiet, when most bitcoiners were planning how to manage their new wealth after the highly expected halving. You can talk all you like about quietness in bitcoinlandia, but there is nothing unusual about spurts and slowdowns in volume, and we can especially experience slow downs in volume over the weekends and during price consolidation periods. Sometimes, the slow downs in volume are especially signs that both sides are waiting for the other side to act (talking about bears and bulls, here), and the low volume could continue for an additional extended period of time (another few weeks) or result in a sudden break out and an increase in volume that comes from one side attempting to make a move and to take advantage of the low volume in an attempt to push for a break out (either direction). Yeah, people can become anxious during these kinds of lower volume consolidation periods because they want some kind of action, including price movement, but for anyone who has been in bitcoin for a while, these kinds of phases are not really unusual or unexpected.

One more bloody day of this ... ~24h , and we can see a spike up to $700+ ... I think they really want it badly in the closing day of 18 July 2016 to have the price stay still at 666$ , exactly in the moment of the 00:00 closing day. Just so it can be kept recorded in history as the day it crashed and burned/scorched all paper currency. The dominos will fall one by one.. starting with Turkey on Monday! ... No one managed to sell and dump almost anything on Friday when the Turkey incident happened! ... It was almost closing time in LA when just rumors started about the Turkey coup ... and probably almost no one had too much to do in Hawaii while the exchanges where still open there! So the major Turkey dumps and crisis of total uncertainty and instability have not started yet... Turkey seems to become a black spot on the map for tourists and the image of that country being on a constant bombing spree and now their own military bombs their own touristic attraction buildings. The image is clear! It is a warzone and everyone will avoid it/abandon it like rats from a sinking ship!

I just bought something with bitcoin for first time and needed to set up my first wallet on mobile phone . Experience was.. too easy. Only annoying part was confirmation time, but I can wait half hour no problem.

Everyone is talking about Nice attack and turkey coup and similar incidents will make btc go up. Iam not so confident, average ahmed or joe does not know much about bitcoin and how to use it. People still like to have cash under their pillows when bad things happen. Bitcoin is for nerds , people in the black market ( even Isis) and people that want to move money into other currency. We need big ballers, wall street people And banks putting money into bitcoin to have big effect on the value

Here is your problem! ... You do not understand how things work! ... If I am an investor in Turkey and I had any stake in that country... The fact that I saw an F-16 drop a bomb on the presidential palace and multiple bombings in the parliament building. Also multiple groups that have conflicts and different interests than the stability of the country. All that would make me want to take my money from there and run like hell.. even if I was a native of that country! ... When you have money and you are used to a certain kind of privileged life, you ain't staying in a country where any kind of bombing is allowed!

Smallblocker shitstains are still stalling I see. SegWit was supposed to come out in April, but the stream got blocked and now almost every block is 0.99 MB. How the hell is Bitcoin going to handle a new ATH at 7 TPS? It won't. These Core assholes are dragging their heels intentionally, despite what they promised in Hongkong. Can't trust 'em. They wanna drive up fees so they can get free help from the non-blockstream core devs with their lightning network, which is years away.
just pump already so I can dump my coins and go away. Once they are gone, I ain't coming back. the PRC got the miners by the balls which means no more censorship resistance. Broke my heart. Bitcoin could have been beautiful.

70% mining in red China. 80% of trades. ChiComs could crash it it to pennies by forcing miners to alter the protocol, banning exchanges, or just scaring the dumpmonkeys with stern words. I don't want crypto that won't be compromised. I want crypto that CAN'T be compromised. We have centralization in mining, code development and, coming to a theater near you, nodes. How is this even the same coin I bought all those years ago? It's supposed to be electronic cash, but it's got fees. Does cash have fees? It's cheaper than VISA, but it doesn't take ten minutes to swipe a credit card and there is consumer protection built in. I hope somebody murders that Karpeles and frames Maxwell for it. Two shitbirds with one bullet.l
