Hmm, well it says nothing about verification for BTC withdrawals so what would be "big" withdrawals? 200 BTC or more?

Does anybody know if any verification is neccessary for deposit and withdrawal of bitcoins on finex?
No verification is needed but it may depends on your location.. I don't think verification is needed for small amounts of Bitcoins, but if you start moving big amounts of Bitcoins Bitfinex might suddenly demand verification, and refuse to let you have your coins back without it. Plus, beware of possible withdrawal delays if the hot wallet's empty. Their terms say they can take up to 12 hours to process a withdrawal. https://www.bitfinex.com/supportHow long does it take for a BTC/LTC/ETH withdrawal to be processed?
When you enable two-factor authentication your withdrawal will be approved instantly, unless you have logged with a new IP address in the previous 24 hours.
If you haven't enabled two-factor authentication you will receive an email to confirm your withdrawal. Your withdrawal will not be approved and processed as long as you don't confirm it with this link. Please note that while most withdrawals of Bitcoins/Litecoins will be processed within 2 minutes, the guaranteed processing time is within 12 hours. A withdrawal might be delayed for two reasons:
Our "hot wallet" (special wallet used to process withdrawals) is empty.
For Bitgo enabled accounts, the withdrawal hit a spending limit (global or specific to the account). I heard that verification is needed for NY residents, don't know if is true or not.

they don't want ny residents. period. if they pick you up using bitfinex in ny state then they ask if you're resident there. if you do admit to it then you're out.

I don't know, but their terms of service say that at any time they can suddenly demand verification. They say they are always monitoring for suspicious transactions, and I suppose any giant Bitcoin withdrawal would get flagged. However with the volume going through the exchange they would probably consider 10 BTC small change. https://www.bitfinex.com/termsAnti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing: Bitfinex is committed to providing you with safe, compliant, and reputable Services. Accordingly, Bitfinex insists on a comprehensive and thorough customer due diligence process and implementation and ongoing analysis and reporting. This includes monitoring of and for suspicious transactions and mandatory reporting to international regulators.
Bitfinex reserves the right to refuse registration to, or to bar transactions from or to, anyone from or in jurisdictions that do not meet international AML–CTF standards as set out by the FATF; to anyone that is a Politically Exposed Person within the meaning of the FATF’s 40 Recommendations; or, that fails to meet any customer due diligence standards, requests, or requirements of BitGo or Bitfinex. In lieu of refusing registration, Bitfinex may perform enhanced customer due diligence procedures. At all times, you may be subject to enhanced customer due diligence procedures in your use of the Site, BitGo, and any Service.

Re: Bitfinex. I'm in. Why are there three different Bitcoin deposit addresses? Exchange Wallet Trading Wallet Deposit Wallet You should ask them, anyone can troll you or give a honest but wrong answer. The explanation must be somewhere in the site, and you can contact their support The Bitfinex support page explains why are there three different Bitcoin deposit addresses. It's because there are three different account types. You can move your Bitcoins over to any account type you like at any time you want on your account Settings page. If you only want to buy and/or sell Bitcoin open an Exchange account and use the deposit address for that. https://www.bitfinex.com/supportWhat are the three account types and which should I choose? Trader: This account type allows access to margin trading, exchange and margin funding Exchange: This account type allows access to exchange and margin funding Deposit: This account type allows access to margin funding
Can I change my account type later? Account Settings page
How can I take advantage of Bitfinex's features even if I don't feel like buying any Bitcoin or Litecoin? You can open a Deposit account and provide margin funding in US dollars to other Bitfinex traders. See Margin Funding.
I would like to simply buy and/or sell Bitcoin, what should I do? You can open an Exchange account and use the "Exchange" tab of Bitfinex

Haha.. LOL .. well I would feel like spamming if I was the last post for several hours and I just had to add maybe 1 line of text. *Edit4: It feels like everyone is waiting to see if Turkey's markets crash well enough for them to pump BTCitcoin with confidence! *Edit5: About my writing pattern style... maybe it is some ADHD nonsense or its just my programming habits to make equal spaces and punctuation between sh!t... But with this kind of pattern it comes a level of predictability, especially if a supercomputer is data mining the web of all existing public information! ... So it is easier to find me out and spy on me, on my thoughts and my intentions if it wants that from me! And even the words you use, the punctuation, the text length... everything! ... In the future we will be very aware of this things... and we will probably want to have a boring undetectable system of communicating! ... Also we will all want to look the same... like each other... a big eF'ing China trend where everyone competes to be looking the same like a preferred pale white tall skinny asian b!tch! (So we can have privacy when walking around places overcrowded with surveillance equipment!)

It looks like the third photographer (on the right side) has a "flaming" aura I was out for the week end and when I checked yesterday I saw a nice spike upwards. Looking good, let's break 700$ again. For good.

Looks like US started war on two fronts - in Europe with Russia and in Asia with China. We all know from history how starting a war on two fronts ends up for the invader.
