What's up Bitcoin world. I see that the price is down. That must mean that the economies of the world are healthy and on track with some good fundamentals. Great to hear.
Let me know if that changes.
you should tell everyone you know that bitcoin is crashing 6 months later you can tell them its crashing again from 900

Good morning Bitcoinland. I see that Bitcoin died again over the weekend. RIP. Missed the chance to buy sub-$620. I guess I'll have to wait.

This is a typical kook pastiche. All that is missing are references to table top fusion, gravo-magnetics, dark energy, zero point energy, Tesla and passing references to alien technology. In the real world, any tech home run(s) of this magnitude would be accompanied by probably 10+ patent filings plus billions in early seed money invested by people in the know.

620 seems to be pretty well defended. Perhaps we found a new bottom?
Just like how 780 was the new bottom.... then 680... then 650... and now 620.... tomorrow 580 WHEN IS $3000 gonna be the new bottom??

I hope this, this has been a pretty disappointing downward spiral over the last few weeks.

do you feel that feeling of impending doom? Nope ... There is too much resistance... And when the sellers will come to the realization that they are just giving the Chinese free coins, because they have the insider information on what they are doing! It was just easy to pull some thousand coins from the Chinese exchanges, dump them on their fake highs... then buy on their fake lows that the West blindly accepted. But they are so sheeple minded that they haven't figured that out just yet. I have been watching for a time now, and China always calls the shots and The West always reacts with a delay after they see what China decides to do.So... I can't say I'm not enjoying the ride on the fake bullsh!t swings... because I do (so... Kudos China... much appreciated!... hats off!) ... but when will it end?

my fav bit. Bitcoin will have a hard-fork, eventually, I think. When bitcoin has a HF, there will be 2 chains after the fork and there will be 2 coins. It is almost guaranteed that some people will refuse the new chain and will remain on the old chain. There are enough people with significant amounts of bitcoin who will never agree to a fork and can afford to keep mining the old chain. Ethereum demonstrated this issue very well. In bitcoin it will be much bigger, because the “old” bitcoin may be worth as much as all of ethereum (1 billion USD). It will not undermine bitcoin’s value very much, but it will cause some chaos with users, wallets and exchanges. This is why a HF needs to be very carefully planned and executed with plenty of advance notice. We also need to learn from Ethereum and consider adding some anti-replay defenses to help users maintain separation of the two chains in their wallets. I think hes right eventually we will HF but hes exaggerating the possibility of a chain split as a result IMO. if Core is supporting 2MB hardfork when the time comes ( in like 2years? ), i dont see a chain split as a possibility. I guess maybe there could be some die hard group that rejects the fork with <1% hashrate...but its not like the HF is proposing to alter the immutable blockchain, or something equally ridiculous. I disagree with the idea of adding some anti-replay defenses, the other chain should be viewed as INVALID, and there's no use catering to an invalid chain... A 5%-hash chain of BTC will be producing blocks at something like ...200 minutes. And with difficulty adjustment in 10 months (which will not fix the issue) it'll be DOA. It would require proof-of-work change and diff starting from a lower point. So then you have 3 coins and the one is unusable.

What's happening guys? To be honest I was not expecting this much of a battering after staying at $660 or so for a fairly long time.

Unless someone knows something I don't, this seems like the post-halving dip that never happened, until now. We all got comfortable with bitcoin being stable at $660. Nearly everyone, especially Adam, were way too bullish.. it's about time bitcoin kicks them in the balls and gives everyone a reality check--- that bitcoin is truly unpredictable. It will make you think that you "figured it out" and then do something completely opposite of what you expect.
