Someone just dumbed 700 BTC on stamp...

Fun typo, right up there with "day tarding" and "hodling" Cheesy

Hahahahaha...

I didn't believe you... I had to go back and verify... ...  and you are correct.  Embarrassed

It's a Jungian typo. Sort of like a Freudian slip, but instead of revealing suppressed emotions from your individual subconscious, it reveals the state of the collective unconscious...so this is a thing now. Selling big amounts of BTC into this rally is now called dumbing!  Cool

Someone just dumbed 700 BTC on stamp to force the price from $1023 to $999, and then the price is already back to $1010, and no one else seems to be following (on Stamp or other exchanges)

Huge dump (for them) on Stamp and the other exchanges barely dip. Already most of the way back up.

Looks like some desperate bear just lost money with a ploy that didn't work.

Bitcoin Bozo. You can knock him down but he bounces right back up.

Very bullish.

Reminds me of this... I had like just 2-3 of them round on the bottom and kept getting up if you tried to push them on their sides. And I guess the biggest one would be BTCiTcoin and the rest are the alt-coins.

Clif High is the same oddball prognosticator who predicted nuclear war in 2010. You may as well get investment advice from Rush Limbaugh. Take a look at his website at halfpasthuman.com.
If I get you right. You mean Clif High prediction about bitcoin price might fail since his prediction concern nuclear war doesn't come to past, isn't ? Just know in other to get the info concern the prediction of bitcoin price.

Nope!!! ... I was right and you where wrong!   Roll Eyes

*Edit:  Btw... there is no such thing in BTCitcoin as "bear market" ... that is just nonsense! Bitcoin will always go 10x in value every 4-5 years.  Sad

*Edit2: My prediction:

*Edit3:  The reason of this stagnation is the dollar getting stronger by 2-3% vs. other currencies. (this is from what I see from the currency exchanges)

Stronger dollar = weaker emerging market currencies (& most other currencies) = generally increasing bitcoin price (especially as Yuan weakens further).

As bitcoins price has really diverged recently from Yuan devaluation line, maybe a bigger deval is coming?

Stronger dollar in a bullish bitcoin run = bitcoin stagnation

Yuan devaluing = bitcoin stagnation

I think we all love this gif: this is one of my favorites!
Today I've secured some more BTC in cold storage because I feel that we are not done with the recent fireworks and I don't want to move my coins around these days.

Probably... But... I am not sure it will be an exact 10x ( or 1000% ), and I think there will be a law of diminishing returns working against that. So it will probably be from last time 10x, the next one will be 8x or 7x from the previous ATH, then it will be 6x or 5x, and so on and so forth ... But it is still uncertain if it wont go the other way! Meaning it could be 11x or 12x, then 16x or 17x.. etc. Smiley

Hmm...  But....  An asset denominated in an appreciating currency, is surely attractive to someone in a currency that is depreciating or expected to depreciate against it.

When GBP went down after Brexit, my BTC were worth far more
