Well aren't you bearish lately? Let me guess. Sold your coins for under $1000 and desperately want the price to fall?

My bitcoins are only worth more than what they were worth less than a month ago ;( True, but sentiment is extremely low. I am hodling as usual and won't sell anything as I am not a trader and do it have the trading knowledge but post after post.... Sub 800, sell now. 600 soon. Not fun after such a great Christmas and New Year hey. Edit. Also the man/woman creating nonsense dyslexic account names is back so we are all doomed. She/ he says so on each post.

really? seems fine to me. the rise was a little silly and unrealistic. anyone shocked by this hasn't been paying enough attention the last few years. let's see what the rest of this month brings before getting gloomy.

Don't get me wrong. I bought at the lowest or near to lowest point over the last few years and hodl long term so I am more than ok but I always get a bit gloomy at these times. Hey ho, HODL on.

Queue the bear trolls, who apparently all went into hiding in for a year. Notice too the sudden absence of all the bull accounts who were posting daily trains and rockets. You guys all logged out of 'em and back into your troll accounts yet?

for hours now i have been trying to figure out which way its going then it hit me. UP! Did you ever say anything but up? :p But I think you're right though. The number of people saying it'll go down is damn too high! What's the saying? Buy when they sell and sell when they buy? Anyway it's always a good idea to do the opposite of what the newbies say. And kwukduwk or kwukduq or kwuduck or whatever his godamn name is just preticted we're heading for the 200. So I guess it's a rather solid argument to predict the next up trend that will hit bitcoin! Next move will be up then <3

for hours now i have been trying to figure out which way its going then it hit me. UP! It might go sideways as the Chinese love 8 no, back to 8888 is far more likly as price begins to recover again confidence will slowly rise with it. its just scary right now buying so close the low, it FEELS like we might see a new low. soon enough, we will hit 8888 with twice as many shorts as last time.

I had noticed this spamming of the blockchain,
The market is making the largest moves that it has made in years. Why do you classify transaction demand as spamming? Does it not make sense that times of great market volatility might be times that people might be genuinely desiring to move their BTC either on- or off- exchanges? I doubt it... The most plausible explanation is spam, especially if you look at the level of the spike. Well, I think you are not thinking rationally. Most Bitcoiners know that it is unsafe to keep Bitcoins on exchanges, due to counterparty risk. But one can not trade through an exchange when coins are not on the exchange. Times of market volatility are by definition times of Bitcoin changing hands. Accordingly, when the market makes big moves, it is absolutely irrational to think that movement of Bitcoins between local wallets and exchanges would not rise from the baseline under such conditions. people with big blocker agendas tend to want to view plausible facts and theories in order to attempt to suggest that there is something wrong with bitcoin due to organic growth..
The readers will note that you inserted this comment about blocksize apropos of nothing. I might suggest that your knee-jerk reaction is indicative of an idealogically-driven blind spot. I will admit that there may be something wrong with bitcoin in the sense that it is difficult to prevent spam attacks, but making the blocks bigger is not going to solve that particular issue.
I will note that there is no testable criteria for classifying any given transaction as 'spam' or 'not-spam'. However one wants to define spam, there are arguments to be made that either support or defleact your bald unsupported assertion that 'bigger blocks will not help the spam issue'. But that is irrelevant. Indisputably, more valid transactions (however one wants to define 'valid') fit in bigger blocks than the number of valid transactions that will fit in smaller blocks.

... bitcoins, the cryptocurrency created by technologists to circumvent state-backed paper money, suffered the heaviest fall in its 23-year history.
Even when tripping over themselves to get out yet another Bitcoin obituary, the controlled MSM blunders mightily. (Still uncorrected at this time).
