I like how last month's rise in price, according to the MSM, was "Chinese are moving money out of China through Bitcoin". Just a month later it's because of the ETF. Because a month ago we didn't know about the ETF. Also, Japan and India.

Latest incarnation from Bloomberg was 'price rise on back of Trump trade uncertainty'.

The HYPE isn't all fictional, But sometimes it's hard to imagine this is a conspiracy to control the price or the like, considering this one would involve the Chinese government and tons of other parties.

Anyway it's looking pretty good now, was at +$1100 last time I checked preev.

There's a 2k wall at $1225 on finex. Maybe these are goldbug walls to slow down bitcoin/gold price parity.

The price of gold and silver both go up after bitcoin does from people like me converting imaginary money to real money.  If ETF was approved by some absurd chance, I'm taking all those profits straight to silver.

Dude!!!... that is just for the short term. You should not stay in silver or gold from my opinion!... especially gold, because the government will probably hunt you down to take it away from you! To be honest I don't like gold or silver because you have to hide it after you buy it. You know why... because you always giver personal information and the government pays those companies to keep logs / tabs on all the customers. And even if they won't find it from you, they will harass your relatives and look for precious metals in their homes! And if they won't do that they will try to tax your local merchants and they will demand from them payment in those metals. And that will be like robbing you one way or another!


So for me gold & silver delusion in the long term... its just lambie poop!





So make sure to come back to the big man BTCiTcoin after you take your profits from silver!

no point sweating it. either it happens or it don't. and if it doesn't happen this time, you can bet your ass they'll keep on trying until something passes. i think if it's a no it'll be down to bitcoin itself being not ready. some day it will be.

you can tell by the big names attending meetings that it's still up in the air. if it was a definite no they wouldn't be wasting their own or anyone else's time.

i didn't expect it to be where it is now so soon, and especially with so little hype or drama. that means there's a bunch more hysteria that can be stoked. i kinda hope it doesn't happen but there's a chance it might. $1500 is possible if the rest of the world gets excited.

you're forgetting how meaningless market cap is compared to real money.

25 billion real dollars put into bitcoin would push the price far beyond $2500. right now you could probably reach that price on the exchanges by spending 50-100 million dollars in one shot.

and if sellers sniffed out that there was a buyer with money to burn they'd go on strike and push the price up even further.

That would have been a very bizarre way of "cleaning [your reputation] up"...

a couple months ago he contacted me lamenting the lies and personal attacks on Reddit, it just didn't sound like me.

So I asked him if he was the original account owner.  He insisted that I was and that he was insulted[...]

I could not fail to notice the bizarre typos -- "me" and "I" instead of "him" and "he".  As if... 

Thank goodness he invested so much time and effort protecting his fellow Brazilians from the dangers of Bitcoin!



Come on Stolfi, tell us how much you didn't lose 'cuz you didn't buy at the peak in 2013! Cherry pick some prices to make your arguments look as good as they possibly can.

I guess cherry picking exchange rates to fit your narrative can bite you in the ass?
