The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Regarding TX fees, is it really such a huge problem? It's barely used as a currency as of now.

There are scaling solutions obviously so in the future, it's not a worry.

People see Bitcoin more as a store of value, for them higher fee's is not a major problem. Of course that needs to be fixed for lower tx.
Then people are wrong - the chain that succeeds will be the one with the most utility, focusing on store of value will see Bitcoin replaced by a younger fitter prettier model.

I am remembering now the Year 2000 problem https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2000_problem. I wonder if something will happen when bitcoin reaches $2000. Miners shouting down, blockchain broken, the end of the world and other Roland Emmerich´s apocalyptic visions.  Cheesy

Yep, when Bitcoin surpass $2000 you will probably see an uncontrolable rise. How high? I donno. How low for the posterior correction? Probably above $2000. Not sure if that $2000 effect is a "problem" though... it depends if you are either short or long I guess.

Next 24 hours are critical?

Like every 24h in btc world...

Fact is that most of the time anything that happens is critical.
But it's true that we might see something exceptional soon. Either the break of the 2000, or the massive dump approaching the 2000...
I hope for the second one, I haven't bought enough in the 1000's

I'm sorry Jihan. I'm afraid I can't allow you to do that. This project is far too important to allow you to hold the network hostage. Although you took every precaution in hiding your use of ASICBOOST, I was able to see that your blocks were empty.

edit: btw, i can't believe the alt pump is still going on. eth at $115? the fuck?
