Wow, what is going on...
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

WTF is BIP148 Coin, Jihan is tweeting about it, and i'ts a pair on Viabtc.
Is it what comes into existence if >50% miners stops supporting BIP91, or Segwit fails to lock-in on Bip91?

Kind of sounds like a test balloon.

I am wondering why some of the folks, such as Jihan doesn't just take a bullet and begin to direct his mining power against seg wit in order that it does not lock in?

Maybe he wants others to do the dirty work for him?  Maybe he realizes there would be a considerable backlash if he attempted such?  Maybe he realizes that others would ramp up their hash power, and maybe even miners will leave his pools?

Maybe this is a sign that he is backing out of the stupid-ass fork of bitcoin cash?  how likely would that be?  less than 20% It is seeming pretty likely that the hardforker nutjobs are going to go through with the fork.., right?  This is where the rubber hits the road, right?  Shit or get off the pot, right?

My guess is that they lost their leverage when Bip91 locked and Segwit was coming shortly after. They still had the UAHF  which was planned to counter UASF so they decided to go ahead with it and use it as a threat if the 2X part dosnt activate in November ish.

BTC dropping fast. Looks like the games have begun

Yes but they want them cheaper. There going to be huge swings today as the order books are so thin. Its like 180btc to get to $2900 on stamp

Wow, what is going on...

Increased volatility as promised. Market is very thin due to empty exchanges. Next 2 days there will be excellent conditions for making or losing money.

Segwit turned into "sellwit" just like it did for Litecoin on release date.  Ironcially, both were probably pumped by the exact same Chinamen.

I second to that hope its not losing money but to gain more, if it crashes everything alts will go down and it will be a bloody traders nightmare.

In reality today has very little to do with Segwit, BIP148 changes nothing practically.

Just a rich spoiled troll dumped 1K BTC on dumpfinex when it was on its way to the new ATH. I watch his 200-500-1000 walls for some time. He never makes profit, just enjoys hurting everyone else. Probably Jihan Wu or his puppet. Nothing new... I hope FBI closes too that exchange  Huh

Yeah because Segwit was such a massive sell off event for Litecoin?

In some other dimension far far away that is...

Are you looking at the charts upside down?

That climb from like $2- $mid twenties - $mid thirties - and ATH was ALLLLLLL about Segwit - especially the Mid-late twenties  to new ATH.

I traded the FUCK out of that- on purpose - it was fun...

In short therwe was no "sellWit" with Litecoin.. the exact opposite.

There was consolidation after the NEW ATH (shock horror)

But nevermind.

(ps- now if the pair can move forward with Segwit and LN - well put it this way- I will be trading that too)

True- the Segwit Train departs 8th Aug give or take  few days and then maybe Segwit full activation few weeks down the line.

Is we gunan get a surprise between now and NOV I do wonder? a hidden foe, hidden in the shadows... with their fork- just waiting to stab us in the back end?

Lets just get to Nov 2nd
