Another overnight push. Loving those at the moment.  Grin

Does anyone have a list of airdrop Alts that can still be claimed with my private keys?

I'm not sure how many airdrops are running out there, but these are confirmed running right now:

Stellar Lumens - LAST date 27th Aug
https://www.stellar.org/blog/bitcoin-claim-lumens-2/

Byteball - next round on 6th Sep
https://byteball.org/

Bitcore
https://bitcore.cc/

(And of course, the usual BitCH coins, if you've not already claimed them)

People love these free money things, but I don't see much (any?) discussion of the negative aspects.
The addresses you use to claim these coins are forever linked together and that data will (eventually) make it's way to chain analysis companies (by sale) or governments (by subpoena).

Even worse, when you do this you decrease the privacy of bitcoin for other users as well.

Full disclosure: I tried a clam address to check out (the free money and) use of shapeshift instead of installing a special wallet. It worked well btw. Smiley
I'm already seeing single satoshis being sent to that address, I guess in the hope they get merged into a transaction one day when fees work out better, thus linking some extra addresses together.
It only needs one of those clustered addresses to be associated with your actual id for the whole cluster to be linked to you.

edit: for the record I should have added bch into this. Moral of the story - if you have any expectation of privacy, sell your bch  one address at a time

 Huh?  Final?!

I think this is going to be the local final leg up with a fierce rally to  ~$10k, until a serious market correction or really an interim bear market. I have a feeling $10k is going to be reached before the new year, but then we'll have to "pay" for it

Thanks for the explanation.  I don't think there is anything the value can do after running up to 10k to make us pay for it... Unless we are buying from here on up and then it tanks.
I welcome any and all increases in value as well as the occaisional healthy correction.

Ok, so my account yefi got hacked 2017-08-19. I'm a little shocked at this as my p/w was a random 9 digit code with a special character. It was also unique to this site. Anyway, please ignore anything my lobotomised impostor now writes, thank you.

This is proof it's yours, especially as it was quoted by another person back on 2/1/16
Based on this, won't the mods give you your account back?

they're seriously slow with this type of stuff normally. there are sad little threads in the meta section that drag on for ages.

i change my password and email pretty regularly. you never know when the next hack will be.

Sorry to hear this Yefi.

It is of course the lack of security on the site, and no reflection on you.   I know how I would feel, though, having to start as a noob after so many years of posting on here.  You are still a legend to those who know, don't worry!

Hope you can get back your avatar soon, or ideally Theymos will verify the hack and return the account to you - which OUGHT to be possible, given your ability to prove it.

There should be a way to prove their leaky security is at fault - so so many do not suffer this indignity on a site which (ironically) is all about cryptography.

Bitcoin dead?  abercrombie?

lol...

I ain't jittery yet..

MACD on 1hr crossed down...and RSI turned ,though we are at bottom meridian on BB on 1hr, see if it falls through the bottom and drags it down or pulls back after an overshoot,.. volume was not impressive for the drop on finex at least, is the order book that thin? (could have just been someone cashing out some Vegas money- or dumping their "Bitconnect exploit" coins lol-im kidding- perhaps a liquidated short position explains it)

Could bounce back after a few hours cycle  and the MACD and RSI turn -nothing is looking too grim on the 1 day chart - MACD looks like it will double crossover... RSI doesn't look unhealthy ...yet, though 3rh 6hr 12 hr all turning bear- but I think they will turn bull as 1 day MACD double crosses over... unless of course...they don't

Technicals are technicals.. they do not rule... and nothing is set of course,  but maybe just a breather

ByteBall airdrop has been reduced to 1/10 of previous amounts in the next round.
Which is only 0.00625 GB / BTC
Current ByteBall price is $356/GB, so

1BTC yields about $2.22
