A splendid, glorious good morning ladies and gentlemen of Bitcoinland.
I see we not only maintained last night's impressive gains, we even reached another ATH... currently $5260USD/$6563CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Not only that but AltCash is also up... currently $323USD/$403CAD (Coinmarketcap).
We all know a real correction will be coming soon but let's see if we can run a little higher first.
Hopefully $5k will hold as the new bottom. Anything under $4.8k and I'll be rushing out to buy more.
Go Bitcoin go. _____
Also many thanx to Micgoossens for his generosity with his ATH guessing game. That's over five grand USD he's given away. Hopefully he still has hundreds and hundreds of bitcoins.
Cheers to all.
Maybe next time in place of an ATH guess i wil make a guessing list for When we cross 10k USD 😊 Wow, you're really acting upon my advice? IMO, next game can be made for guessing when bitcoin would cross $10k, instead of new ATH. Just an opinion for micgoossens. Yeah its a good idea..... if not too Many anti-like it.... but maybe next week after my holiday i Will start Another list ....

We've never heard that one before here on Bitcointalk /s.
These kinds of stories normally show up towards the end of a bubble. It's mania.
Your post history is fine testament to why no-one should listen to your pessimism.

actually I am 95% in btc now, thats why I feel the need to buy some silver tomorrow maybe a stupid move, maybe not.. going to buy scrap (spoons, forks etc..) for scrap value 0,30 eur / gr. Those can easily be sold if needed for a profit.. I am not touching any silver coins / bars or whatever. Scrap is the way to go in the silver game 95% in BTC!! If I had the stomach to take that kind of risk, I could have retired by now. Silver isn't a bad hedge to your position. But I don't know why you are allergic to bullion.

Yes, I would suggest 70% btc, 10% solid dividend paying stocks, 10% cash, 3% alts, 3% silver, 3% gold and some 1% in collectables Hm. Depends greatly on the capital at your disposal. 70% allocated in btc is impractical for most billionaires for example... I also doubt that there is anybody sane with 100mil usd cash. Nonetheless, I do agree that diversification is probably one of the safest longterm investment strategies.

Was actually more than 100% in at one point, and underwater. Now I'm financially independent at 35. Good times.

If billionaires try to allocate a small portion of their wealth to bitcoins, we would go through the roof. It is only a matter of time before the billionaires and wall street firms wade in, and we really take off to the moon.

If you are so financially independent (supposedly), then why would you give a ratt's ass about whether bitcoin makes a 10% correction after you had sold a little today and skim a few profits off the top. In other words, you are contradicting yourself to suggest that you are financially independent and then to be worried about BTC price dropping a bit in order that you can buy some more after you sold.

I sometimes enjoy reading the posts of readers following a bitcoin article in some msm outlets. they hated it and didn't get it when it went over $100. the hated it and didn't´t get it when it went over $1000. they just do not see the technology breakthrough part. this helpless, clueless ignorance is sometimes entertaining. disclaimer: I was clueless and ignorant myself when the internet started. if thought it was a hype and hated it. couldn't´t grasp what a "browser" was. when the internet bubble started I was one of the last fools to burn my fingers. but I did figure out what an idiot I was and decided to not let that happen again. when I discovered bitcoin I knew I would not let this one go by due to ignorance. learnt much about bitcoin and hodling in this forum. thank you all. without this forum I would not be in the position I am.
