First Ive heard of BCD and BTD  Huh  I have trouble keeping up   --- “Bitcoin Diamond is a fork of Bitcoin that occurs at the predetermined height of block 495866”, said an EVEY team member
F*}+k me.

Bithumb at $8635.  Bitfinex is only playing arbitrage with Korea.

Careful guys looks like China has decided to pump Bitcoin today instead of BCH.

So does BCH blockchain operation and miners have an association with Chinese red party or have I got the wrong end of the stick.   In China as I understand it, in every industry its quite common to have private companies which are more then closely matched to government but largely a part of it and continue with its blessing.  Is this also now to be part of crypto and BCH in particular?
I cant remember where I read that or mangled that idea, just wondering if its a given or a silly thing to mention even.
It seems feasible to me, I believe China has operations with commodity companies like this and eventually intends to trade gold and many metals within China with ambition of trading the global price which is fairly lucrative.  China is already the largest producer and also consumer of gold in the world, declared and undeclared trade and possibly is this comparable to crypto.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

You can call it whatever you want... a "job" or a career, but there ends up being a monetary calculation in there too, and at what point is working not worth the effort?  Sure that is going to be an individual calculation, of course.
...

You speak as if you have never in your life had work that meant anything to you. That's sad.

You are devolving into nonsense, which seems to be kind of pattern with you and your fellow trolls, including trying to recharacterize my statement in order that you can make the topic about me.

I think that we started out talking about a situation in which someone is working in a JOB, and we have already conceded that not all JOBs are equivalent, and there may be levels in which you are serving as a kind of principle rather than an agent, and accordingly you have more control over your terms and conditions of employment or you might have other job perks.

So let's say you retire. What are you going to do with your time? Watch TV and have hookers blow you round the clock? While I imagine this would be a great time for a week or so, after a while, I'd be looking to exercise my brain.

of course, hookers and blow, but surely, the more you are able to act as a principle rather than an agent, then you determine your own schedule and whether you have other "projects" besides the hookers and the blow.

Sure, Bitfinex had several opportunities already to employ an exchange exit scam -

For all we know, they have already executed two partial exit scams.

If you want to ground your views of the world on conspiracy theories, then sure that is possible.

I've seen enough exit scams. I know the way this story usually ends. 'Trust but verify' doesn't work, unless you actually get around to the verification part. How's that audit looking?

You don't know shit.... You are merely, guessing, assuming, speculating and also coming to too strong of a conclusion that there is a scam going on based on pretty skimpy evidence, even if you are proclaiming to have some kind of "gut feeling"

Not sure about the distribution but the snapshot happened at Block 495,866 which was about 1000 blocks ago. Heard futures are trading at 55-60$

No ...

This is all about the poll... Someone from this thread wants to pump this shit to above $8500 for the end of the month in order to be "right" for the poll.

It is all a conspiracy.. there is no real BTC price dynamics here, beyond conspiracy and manipulation, right Torque?

What the fuck is wrong with you Hyperjacked?

Did some bull knock you over the head with a Casascius coin, and take over your bitcoin talk account?

You are supposed to be a corporate shill bear, don't you even remember your own role in this bitcoin saga?

You need to go back to making your dumb-ass bear predictions, in order that bitcoin prices can continue to rise to $10k and beyond.   Tongue

Have you ever given up work for a few years, temporarily retired?

Sorta. I was self-employed for a decade. I had the opportunity to select from the few jobs that came my way due to reputation. Was sort of a feast or famine period - when I was working, I was raking it in hand over fist. When not, I was pursuing other interests, and waiting for the phone to ring.

Eventually, the 800 pound gorilla of my industry made me an offer to 'come inside'. After several rounds of negotiation, the offer became 'an offer I could not refuse'. So even if not for Bitcoin, I'd be sitting pretty. And I value the work - it's been a good run. Indeed, I've affected your life. Yes, you the reader - whomever you may be.

But as I've said before, I've given my notice. Jun 30 I am out the door. Whatever contributions I am making to the industry, I'll do on my own dime after that - they should be wrapped up by end of 2018.

Either way, there is plenty more work waiting in the wings. As in, my interests are varied and strong. While I will again be calling the shots, I will be applying intense effort to real world problems.

You're right. I don't know shit about Bitfiniex's situation. Which is why I don't trust them with my money.

Bittrex Exchange has announced positive steps to combat the anti-BTC Blockchain spamming by BCH Bastards :

1. Higher minimum transactions (now 100,000 Satoshi min.)

2. Minimum tick sizes

3. Removing stale orders (30 days)

4. A sermonette on pumping, dumping & manipulating the markets!

https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003004171

lol you drinking the bittrex kool-aids? .. putting your money in there is like cryptsy 2.0 :\ they will be gone and in federal court within 6 months <<<

I'm not a special fan of Bittrex, but that's THE exchange I use to trade altcoins. Why do you think they are doomed? There are some funds there I would hate to loose. One can also use Poloniex, but their support is worst on the planet, so I do not go there anymore because of that.

Bittrex is a very good respected exchange that are doing things the right way in the United States.

Polo on the other hand has had some questionable stuff happen early this year that made me switch. I'm sure it will be a trend... Look at the volumes

If Bitfinex is really insolvent it will  have definitelly impact on price.
But it could be only  FUD gossips and on the other side we could reach  10k USD or higher levels before price  will collaps..
