With all due respect, Theymos couldn't even get an updated forum built with a budget of 6k BTC. Why the hell would ANYONE expect him or his associates to be able to oversee the production of a seastead??
Come on now.

the most expensive forum software that doesn't exist yet. slickage Its just like I wouldn't expect Roger Ver to be able to build a seastead either. Most of these early adopters don't know the first thing about running a high tech professional operation. + most of them are at least semi socially awkward and have lower than average people skills. Some of the EXACT things you need to construct and LIVE ON a seastead. Most of these seasteader types are: 1. Lone wolves 2. Anti-social 3. Stubborn 4. Eccentric 5. Nerdy 6. Drug and alcohol users/abusers 7. Entitled 8. Self righteous 9. Egotistical 10. Male Yeah, please sign me up for this circle jerk in the middle of the ocean. Sounds like a plan.

Whoa whoa guys. One of our number has apparently done quite well from our common passion. Let’s not judge him too harshly for what he wants to spend his profits on. It’s not my cup of tea but there are worse possible choices.
I would strongly recommend anyone going into one of these situations not to take all their BTC with them. Never put all your eggs in one basket.

I was prepared for this getting into seasteading but working with the large group of people that are working on this I have found this to not be the case. If anything it's leaning a bit too much in the environmentalist arena for my tastes. But I understand the need for leaning on the environmentalist side with ocean projects. I have discovered there is a certain environmentalist mafia that exists that you do not go up against.

I even dreamt Vegeta screaming in my head tonight.
I dreamt of having taken a photo of my recovery seed and accidentally uploading it on the cloud. I realised this when I was on the road, away from my TREZOR. Then I had to rush home to transfer the coins, but somehow I could not move fast! It was as if I was inside a pot of honey in some way. Was struggling to move fast, but couldn't! Damn, that was one agonizing nightmare I had. Seriously, no joke.

pretty much nobody cares about any cypherpunk principles nor even if the biggest exchange is printing fiat while the price is going up, this is now exclusively about getting-rich-quick bullshitism.

Nobody understands us. "People check their stocks once per day" "I dont see you on the phone making any calls" "What are doing looking at this wall of numbers all the time"
