Haha. The world works in funny ways.

I'm sitting in the lounge at SJC - I was working in Silicon Valley so far this week. AAR, when I checked into my hotel the other night, I noticed a newspaper I'd not seen before available amongst the piles of drek such as USA Today. Epoch Times. Intrigued, I grabbed a copy.

This morning, I finally started reading it. There was a great article on the ramifications of Bitcoin that took an entire page in the paper. Once I read it, I thought I oughta share it here. There is an abbreviated version available on the web: https://www.theepochtimes.com/is-bitcoin-just-a-brilliant-wealth-redistribution-scheme-3_2377636.html

And there it is, the 1200+ wall at 17250 @ GDAX
At least 1 sell order of 1000 BTC is in it.

Looks like they waited for the daily close, then it instantly pumped $800. Altcoins like ETH/LTC/XRP that were rallying hard are instantly bleeding. The market seems to expect new all-time highs for BTC. What kind of upside should we expect once price makes new highs?

The person with the wall on GDAX really should just execute a market sell order. There's no way that's gonna get bought. We're literally at the top of the precipice and on the verge of the most epic crash in modern market history as bitcoin's failure is completely priced in. 2018 will be the year bitcoin finally dies.

Confirmed sources no doubt.... lmao

The wall at Gdax is progressively being walked back as price comes up to meet it. It’s now at 17,250.

The wall was there all the time, the previous wall yesterday was at 17200 and was eaten/taken down

Fucking truth, brother. I dumped my GLD holdings out of boredom, and put em into QQQ and SPYG. Already up.

Lemme get this straight, you were holding a derivative contract for gold called GLD that has no relationship whatsoever to actual gold, and if somehow the price broke out of their rigged system, their legalese allows them to settle all accounts at current spot price of $1255 and then instantly revalue gold to $10k an ounce or higher while giving you none of the profits.  Anyone who doesn't understand things like this and continues to hold GLD over physical silver or gold is definitely going to lose everything in the bitcoin market sooner or later.

It looks like Korea is back to pushing us higher. Leading by $1000 again after being pretty much even for a while.
