Love watching the bitch ass bears fold out.. love it.
You do realize that in Poker, the ones losing the most are the ones who go all-in when their cards are not as strong? Historically in bitcoin, the only losers haven been the ones who sold.

Cryptsy is imploding.
I've taken my coins out and would suggest the same to anyone.
Based on what?

I don't think anyone here really realizes how very rich you are all going to be someday. Oh, sure you all bla bla bla about holding coins and buying more but don't realize that you will honestly be wealthy. If any of you were to get hit by a bus and wake from a coma 10 years from now, if you properly secured your wallet, you would want for nothing the rest of your lives.

Based on what? Er... it's actually down right now: Error 502 Edit - back up - but it has been weird at losing trades and having balance problems lately - not sure it's 'imploding' just yet - what happened?

10 years? Hopefully 2 or 3 years is all it takes. I could do without the coma too. I think many of us are very optimistic. Nothing is for sure though. The strange thing is I tend to be pretty conservative and not much of a risk taker but with Bitcoin it is hard to not just throw caution to the wind and go all in. The rewards outweigh the risk so much that it is more logical to do so than not to.

The rewards outweigh the risk so much that it is more logical to do so than not to. We are hard-wired for optimism...its in our our nature to acknowledge risk but simultaneously see ourselves as not being affected by it. Eg. people understand the percentage risk of cancer yet think it will not affect them. I posted a link about this here yesterday but it was ignored (ironically) but you can google Tali Sharot if you are interested. As much I'd like financial independence and be able to do some good in the world by having more money, I can't help but recognise and explore potential risk....and I don't like the fact the word 'faith' is thrown around so much ;/

I spoke with BigVern at the BTC conference in Vegas. They are planning to upgrade their API in the near future, I would not worry about these small down-times.

Bitstamp M15 chart, ascending triangle, short term ultra bullish. And if it breaks upward we might also break the down trend on the H6
Edit: and if this happens we might see $2000 before the year is over.

Really! You're gonna whine about losing one Bitcoin? $15 trillion BTC market cap in 10 years. Wow! Today that's 25% of global GDP. But in ten years it's only 15%.

It won't be that % since we got inflation coming. And if we don't them it won't get that high anyways since there'd be very little use for BTC.
