It surprises me that no one see's the obvious. Large manipulators wait for negative PR and then take the opportunity to start the drop, knowing that people will attribute it to the news and panic.

Holding is not because you're sticking with your internet friends, its because by and large individual amateur investors are going to have a really hard time timing the market properly and not losing money. You will lose less if you just step away and stop thinking about it. It's either going to be worth millions or nothing at all. You joined up for this ride, so don't quit your day job.

And please, stop complaining.

Hodling is stupid right now. Nothing but negative news on the horizon from China. Why wait until the end of the month?

LOL! i remember you shithole! you were stating the EXACT SAME BULLSHIT back in July at Bitcoin prices around 70$. "why not sell at 70$ when you know that 50$ will be reached?"

The SAME WORDING! LOL! Except of course the China part. Go f---- yourself.

Check my posts. I was one of the few screaming BUY BUY BUY last summer.

i remember your exact wording, your name and your dumb avatar. and YOU KNOW IT.

Again, click my profile and check my posts. I was one of the few mega bulls all summer long.

You might be able to find a bearish post or two but there are dozens, maybe over a hundred, bullish posts.

I dont sign up often to the "manipulators" meme. But in this case it looks pretty obvious. There is really no news here.

However bears may win out intermediate term. I expected an in flow of fiat this week. It doesn't look like it has arrived.

Bitcoin is probably the most psychological asset out there, it's all perception based at the moment.

My bet is insider trading on the arrest of a manipulator in China. The real dumping hasn't even begun.

I like to imagine it more like this, we're over prepared to react to bad news from China...people seeing the self cenorship of Taobao freaks them out and they pre panic now.. which is ever worse then what happened back in early dec... oh well.. I thought 950 was a good exit on cavirtex but I'm just caught up in hodling Cheesy so I think I'll just ride the roller coaster the same as I do when it is going up

"In related news, the millions of dollars in bitcoin seized by the FBI from Ross Ulbricht and the first Silk Road, currently stored in a set of online wallets, appears to be on the move. A source in the U.S. Justice Department said that “authorities” have access to the Ulbricht’s bitcoin cache and may be selling it off for less volatile currencies in the next few weeks."

"The reason for selling is that the Government has lost faith in the value of bitcoin and does not want to deal with the volatility of the currency,” the source said"

Sorry to all I was not faithful on fulfilling my BTC to escrow. Had a major issue yesterday, where I'm currently at was hit with the biggest snowstorm in over 10+years on top of artic vortex temperatures...

Hello?

CoinBull's back?

What's all this about the worst blizzard in 10 years Coinbull?

CoinBull what do you have to say for yourself?
My coins froze???
Got ya. Crash is happening. wonder who started it
Doesn't matter about the escrow of course. Our honesty doesn't rely on an escrow. If by tomorrow at 07:02:14 PM (GMT +1) the price has touched $750 on GOX I will send you 1 BTC. I expect you to send me 1 BTC if this has not happened. This is all as agreed yesterday. Thanks.

I'll just quote your quote here for confirmation.  Wouldn't want that post disappearing in a snowstorm or something Smiley

Oops.. didn't know they bet on gox..

People hodling all their money in btc are just like you and your 2-outer. Most people deny the risk or are unaware of it. It may be small, but it is there.

Obviously, but i knew the risks before i even decided to invest anything in it. Also people have different entry points. Personally most of my investments were when ltc was 2-4$, so i am able to sit pretty tight.

My mentality before investing in crypto was basically "I will forgive myself if it will collapse to 0, but i wont forgive myself if it skyrockets and i wont have any"
I used to think like that just a few months ago, but now as my wealth increases drastically on orders of magnitude, my perspective is changing, which is weakening my trading strategy. It used to be I had some chump change that I was reinvesting in hopes of making some serious money. At this point, I have the serious money, which I could use to live comfortably for many years. Now the decision is whether to reinvest the serious money in hopes of becoming rich and then it'll be reinvesting that money to become filthy rich, etc. However, bring filthy rich and owning a yacht, lambo, castle etc. Isn't very high in my list of core values. Its more important for me to have the money to live comfortably than to possibly be filthy rich. I would be very upset if I had all this money to live comfortably for many years and then I lost it all. So I am thinking of maybe withdrawing a half or a third of it so I can end this fear and start living life again without all this stress.

Yep, smart thinking really, I'm in c same boat, I could live 10 years, 5 very comfortable with what I made with Bitcoin and I could be set up for life if it would go to 3-4k.

But I would feel as shit if I'd lose what I own at this moment. So I am definitely actively searching for things to reinvest some of the money I made with Bitcoin. I have some local telecom company stock with around 8% of annual dividends in last few years in my sight or if I find some real estate in city center that I could buy.

I won't hurry though yet but if a good real estate opportunity comes I'm ready to send nice % of my Bitcoin money to it. But it has to be a really good location.

uhhh cant wait to face such dilemma Cheesy

I came here where I am now in less than 10 months so it's surely possible mate. Good luck.

This "bull trap" started at Gox $700 and Stamp $650, so TheCoinBull's bet might be going his way here soon.

Yeah, too bad the troll doesn't actually own any bitcoins to bet with. He could have made about $7000.

He never went through with the bet?

This.

I don't think many people here realise what it means now these Wall St. sharks are circling and amongst us ... they'll be picking you off one at a time like the ripe fat whales you are.

I've been watching/trading the Gold market for 18 years and you guys have no fucking clue what's coming ... it's not going to be pretty.

From here on out, either you're in bitcoin for the long haul and the protection of assets it provides or you're gonna lose most everything .... especially if you think you can out trade these guys with their trading algorithms, bots, deep pockets and propaganda machine ... they'll out psyche you every time and then take your money when you are beat ...

You've been warned. Get real or get out now.

The cringingly obvious attempts to spread FUD from the perma bears on this thread is awful. Please sell so Walsoraj can buy back at a lower level!

So the price has gone back to where it was 48 hours ago. Big deal? After such an uptick it was obvious prices would correct down again.

Reading this thread is like watching a manic depressive who forgot to take their tablets!

I am more inclined to hodl now following bad news out of China, we need to to move away from following their actions due to the volume they trade. Even as a bear its plain to see a large part of this market is jumping to panic buy or sell based on China's mood which is way to much respect for the track record they have with honest trade.

not sure if it's wall street just yet, but there are definitely large manipulators about. it's not a conspiracy theory, it's common sense.
