There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

And I was born in Utah, SLC.... So where you going with this? Call me a mormon. I'm not though. Grin

Even though their religion makes absolutely zero sense, most mormons are very respectable people.  Some of the greatest US patriots like Robert Jay mathews were mormons.  Richard Spencer (who the odds of being some dude on the govt payroll like Hal Turner are pretty damn high) are complete cardboard cutouts compared to this guy:

We are due a new daily candle in 3 minutes.  With the new candle may come volatility.

Either a break out is in order or we get caught in a descending channel.

Current daily is green but a doji.  Which I would read as neutral in the circumstances.

More 50/50 Hairy?

Come on!

Haha.  Ok 60% chance we are at the top of a dead cat bounce.  Downward bias with risk of a short squeeze but not sustainable price growth.  Satisfied?

I would say higher probability of downwards but there are way too many shorts outstanding at the moment so the short trade is very crowded.  It looks like we are just drifting aimlessly in what is shaping up to be a downwards channel.

The challenge is we have Bakkt in late January which should take the sting out of early January.  Then we have ICE and Nasdaq coming online sometime in Q1.  So we have strong fundamentals in what should technically be a very strong downwards period.   What wins in a battle of technicals v fundamentals?  Hard to assess.

Fundamentals every time.

Feels like a squeeze is brewing..lot of shorts hanging.

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-mining-giant-holds-flash-sale-to-celebrate-price-bottom
Bitcoin mining firm Canaan Creative has revealed it is temporarily cutting prices across all of its crypto mining devices.
As part of its “flash sale” starting today, all of the company’s miners – from the Avalon 921 (20 terahashes per second) to the Avalon 851 (14.5 TH/s) – are all [sic] available at $200 each.

hmmmm

Is that cheap? Is it worth it? I haven't mined since the Antminer S3, maybe I should give it another go for the lulz.

P.S.: It basically says in its own page that it is unprofitable to mine with it. And... 1700Watts? That would be a very expensive PSU that I don't have. Think I'll pass on the offer.
Yeah I have stayed away from mining Sha for quite some time, it's too aggressive on difficulty and the equipment is all Enterprise style (loud as fuck fans over standard 110v power draw) GPU mining is even getting cut out more and more by fpga and I want to dip my toes in fpga but the up front cost is too damn high.

A quick calc on https://whattomine.com/asic

20Tera Hashes @ 1700W
Electricity @ $0.1/kWh

This generates $3.39 on Bitcoin mining, with an overall profit of -$0.69 / day.

I guess it may be a cheap way to heat your greenhouse in the winter, but not much else.

the thing is, you have to think about the future price, not the current price

back in the day my GPU configuration broke down, probably a driver update or something, and it was "unprofitable" at the time so I went many months without fixing it, at that time I was pulling like a quarter coin a day or something if I was mining, one of the biggest mistakes of my life missing those months.

Tone Vays remains bullish (short term):

@ToneVays

Trading #Bitcoin - The rebound is holding $4,100, when is the next leg higher for $BTCUSD? Let's take a look. My last day in #Singapore, off to #NewZealand Tonight.

(Yeah, I see how hypocritical it is of me posting about Tone Vays now that he is bullish)

You born in the states and are against migration?
You wouldn't even exist if there was none (except you're 100% native).
So ask again: are you a moron or not?  Grin

How it works is, whites, asians, and maybe a small few others are the only groups capable of building functional civilizations at all, then all the other monkeys come out of the jungle acting as white people stalkers trying to either force their way in to leach off them, or to just flat out pillage those civilizations, kill everyone, and steal their stuff.  Nobody should ever allow immigration from ethnic groups that are completely uncapable of building their own civilizations.

And places like Honduras can fuck off too.  Their population tripled since 1970 because they're entirely a stupid R-selection group and they now expect to just flood white countries with their excess population after they reproduce out of control so they can destroy our countries too with their out of control, mindless baby making machines.

hey dude, thanks to have read and replied to my previous message. just to let you know that most of your message will be censored, deleted and end up in the private archive of those reading only censored post. anyway it's mindblowing the cover up that the media, the gov, the doj, the fbi, the cia, nsa and dod are doing in regards to the epstein case. I mean if they can deny this much one of the most horrible story since the civil movements to try to end appartheid, I can't imagine what else they are hidding, but think about the worst of the worst. those people have no souls, no selves, no nothing, but a slick servile and docile corporate pr machine that allows them to pretend to be righteous and good and yaadaa yaadaa while in reality they allow a pedo and his friends to rape american underage girls mostly white.

I guess, this epstein cover up even needed a war in irak and afg to try to defuse? anyway it's so futile, all their green berets, special forces and seals, delta and what not are just nothing in comparison to PLAoC. Why? because when a kid like you is going a little bit crazy, he goes to kung fu school at 4 yo, and from there, killing all those american muppets, like bungino and all the others craps is just an easy game.

fuck america.

and israel better switch immediatly from those losers who protect Epstein with their lives. And frankly, I am sorry if we have divergences on the kikes, but owning america was necessary to secure Israel, and as all pious muslims shall know, what doesn't belong to you (ie claimed by another people of the book, mentionned many times) is very dangerous indeed, specially when those are the yahoodis, who preceeded most. As such, Eretz Israel will be. the only question is if there will be an islam to live by it. Bcz if islam steal from them, their maqqah, there is no way to get real support for the ummah, as the yahoodis are the righteous.

I don't see any synagog or what ever jewish crap in meddina, makkaq or what ever else.

sorry, if you can't grasp it. and anyway your dead palestinians are just that, oliv tree fertilizers,.. leave or die.

Feels like a red candle on deep diving. That was not nice for a noob on gliding but that's only for the first time, you'll learn on the process just like being a trader.

Merited by infofront (1)

The Dutch East India Company was the largest company in history. Also the first company trading stocks at the Amsterdam stock exchange.

The company was as large as 20 of our largest companies combined, it was as large as the GDP of Germany and Japan together.

Amazing achievement from this tiny country.

Should we expect an SV pump during Coingeek conference? Might be a good time to do some more dumping if you still got some.

It's funny how CSW is continually bashing the whole HODL mentality... while claiming to be the guy that has hodl over 1 million Bitcoin since the very beginning. Will probably watch his speech just for the lulz.

Looking for support at the 0.382 fib. Tenken Sen and Kijun Sen crossing would be fairly bullish on the 4h chart.
