I watched the price of CW Coin rising earlier as bitcoin was dumping. They’re a fucking disgrace & should be ashamed of themselves.

You sound salty.

He's not wrong, they are both disgraces (Ver and Wright).

Drug talk, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

Skip the dreads and terrors of the tea, and go straight for the DMT, businessman's holiday in and out, bang bang wtf man.. it will take your mind from your pain.... It will take your mind from everything tbh lol,  don't do the synthetic shit though

Tbh I am kidding, I cannot advocate it to anyone, smoking that DMT shit is just too profound and bonkers to be suggested willy nilly to folk.

I enjoyed it (most of the times)

If smoking pure DMT is too much, just sprinkle some in your weed and roll a joint out of it. Gives a nice and mild ~10min DMT high, good for beginners.

All the drugs mentioned here lead to low Test-levels, which makes you weak and leads to stress, which further lowers Test.

In the end you will get bald and get a voice like a female. You really want that?

Did they teach you that in school?

M definitely feels less pushy and less stimulant. However, it was anything but subtle (at 400, 750 and 1000 mg).
Right. It's the empathy that is subtler. However, OD'ing on M is quite hard in my limited experience. I've had doses over 1g (500mg HCl and estimated 600+ mg M extract) without any harm. The slow comeup probably helps to keep the bad feelings at bay.

It is very hard, never seen a person OD on it, just read it in the news a couple of times. I've done around 2000 mg of crystals and was just overly fucked, but still enjoyable. Rolling around the floors and shit Cheesy I think my max during a weekend was around 8000mg, but the hangover and comedown were the worst, I was bedsick for a week after that party. Wouldn't suggest those amounts to anyone ofcourse, it's way too much.

That actually makes sense. The only time I was uncomfortable was with a 10ug ride on DOM. Which 15 minutes in was already pretty intense, whilst quickly climbing in intensity for around an hour.
Oh DOM... I've loved that stuff. Hard to come by recently. 10 mg (I think you mean mg, not ug) are a serious dose, though. And DOC... uh, I'd better stop now.

I've done DOB and DOC out of the DOx family. First time I did DMT was quite a mix. Started off with 450ug of acid, after 2-3h when it peaked snorted some DMT fumarate (DMT salts, not as potent as smoking but still works), after 30min smoked some freebase on top of it and the same second a mate put 16mg (2x8 tabs) of DOC in my mouth. Holy fuck, the things I saw and felt cannot even be described. When the DMT wore off in about 15-20 minutes I added another 450ug of acid on top and tripped hard about another 20h, the longest continuous psychedelic trip I've ever had. Peak lasted around 24h alltogether and my brain was quite tired after that. I was still bazzled about what I saw a week later, everything was quite hard to take in. Had a 6 month break of psychedelics after that.

Max amount of acid at once was 1125ug, then things started to break apart and world was upside down at some points. I walked around in Surfers Paradise in Australia and all the people looked like they were from the movie "Monsters inc", that went on for a few hours at least.. indescribable stuff again. At some points you can't control your body properly, you try to move your left hand but right leg moves instead, you want to look up but head goes down instead, etc.. Fun times.

DOB was a bit dark, grey and dark red colours dominating all the visions and the on-come was quite long, 3-4h. It was still enjoyable, but needed a bit more work with the setup etc, not something you could just throw in and go hang around. Seen many bad trips on this substance, though I've never had one myself.

My favourite are Magic Mushrooms, they feel pure and just are really enjoyable. The trip doesn't last too long either (3-4h) and the oncome is normally very quick, some of them work after 15min already. After 5-6h a person is normally completely sober and can continue with everyday errands even if needed.

Stay safe folks! Smiley

Not the first time with your attempts at patronizing phoney baloney, and you should realize, by now, that you likely don't know enough about me nor my experiences to actually lord over such information, even though I see that you are not timid in trying from time to time.

Furthermore, you should recognize that your patronizing clout diminishes  - especially when I have identified a decent amount of your bullshit claims especially when it comes to trolling and bcash bullshit... so in that regard, you have gotten caught with your pants down on a few occasions.... and in that regard, you lose a decent amount of clout, especially the patronizing kind of clout.     Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  So go ahead, try, try try with that kind of seemingly defensive emptiness...

Though -- as the picture will attest -- I'm getting a bit bored.   The chairman of the bored. A lincoln monologue, even.

I will take your status of supposed cool, calm and collectedness with a decently sized grain of salt.

That does not come off as calm, and even seems to show that you are engaging in your own kind of projection.

With any market, there are a variety of actors, and in bitcoin, we have bcashers who exacerbate, and in the end, I doubt that I am projecting responsibility - even though, from time to time, I am pointing fingers and calling spades, spades.  I am not going to embrace attack vectors, even though I will recognize that they are present and they cannot be trusted, and my investment style has not been very much affected by them, even though I may tweak a little here and there because of price movements, and considering whether I need to reconsider if the drama and the pesty ants matter to the whole scheme of things (whether I am going to let them ruin my picnic), when I can just brush them away and keep eating the picnic food.

So, yeah the ants might affect me, but I can proceed, and just change a few things in order to continue to enjoy the picnic.  A bear at the picnic table, might be another story, but let's say that we have not yet had that level of inconvenience in this particular picnic.

So I need to ask, how many of you have basically hodl from the ATH till now.

Mostly codl hodl since years. As in, several boom/bust cycles.

I have a minor percentage as 'trading stock'. I've described my laddered standing orders strategy several times in this thread. I make BTC when price is going down, and I make $ when price is going up.

I took some out at the turn of the year in order to buy a lambo.

IIRC the land was the 'rethorical' lambo?

No, the land was pre-spike. We were on track for that purchase regardless of crypto profits or not. That's what workforce participation gets you.

The rhetorical lambo was 'sheeit - I've seen this movie before. Several times. Let's convert some of this soon-to-crash asset into some other asset class'.

Quote
Anyway, I have always assumed your stash is "quite healthy" in a way that if that's the only that you have cashed out it pales in comparison to your cold stash. And you could more than probably just buy it with from your salary anyways.

No salary any longer. Retired end of 2q18. I do have some more 'traditional' investments, but reinvesting any gains there, too. Though I may have to draw down somewhere, if cryptowinter drags on too long.

Quote
So... do you have plans to ever cash out in a more significant way?

Not really. I can probably live pretty comfortably off harvesting volatility. Next spike, I'll take a couple percent off the table. I won't be able to call the top, but it won't matter. It'll be more significant only in that the next spike will make YE17 pale in comparison. So... 'Cash out'? MorpheusWhatIfIToldYouYouWontNeedToCashOut.png

blah, blah, blah

You have mentioned several times that your first buys were at the $1000-ish, 2013 Dec-ish bubble. Right? Objective fact: I had already been through a number of proportional magnitude spike/crashes. Your dissembling does not change this reality.

Frankly, I commend you on your commitment to dollar average down that entire downtrend. You deserve whatever reward comes your way for such hodl fortitude. Regardless, you are unlikely to have the same perspective as one who has endured such trying times a significant multiple of that you yourself has endured. Having been through this a number of times, OTOH, I am confident in what the future will bring. And whatever animalistic reactions I might have, have already been worked through in previous cycles.

So, no; jbreher is not becoming nervous during these trying times. Get the fuck out of here with your ridiculous mischaracterizing projection defense mechanisms.

Haven't read the last pages so I apologize if this has been posted before.

600,000 Miners Shut Down Business In The Last Two Weeks

https://toshitimes.com/600000-miners-shut-down-business-in-the-last-two-weeks/

Quote
According to F2Pool, the third largest mining pool, between 600,000 and 800,000 bitcoin miners have shut down business. They have shut down at a rapid pace and done so by mid-November.

Quote
the decline of miners happened because of that many used older models. Models such as Antminer T9+ made by Bitmain and AvalonMiner 741 by Canaan Creative. These models only have a hash power of 10 TH/s and are losing money at the current value of bitcoin, according to F2Pool.

Quote
several factors are contributing to the shutdown. One of them is the market decline which was triggered by the bitcoin cash hard fork.

blah, blah, blah

You have mentioned several times that your first buys were at the $1000-ish, 2013 Dec-ish bubble. Right?

Yes.  That's when I started in bitcoin, but I was not born then.  I was born earlier than that.

Objective fact: I had already been through a number of proportional magnitude spike/crashes. Your dissembling does not change this reality.

Oh?  So in your mind, you are smarter based on certain kinds of experiences?

Part of the idea of patronizing is that it seems to be off topic, and in that regard, my earlier post did not even question your level of smartness, but you felt a need to inject such supposed smartness based on experience into the response.

Frankly, I commend you on your commitment to dollar average down that entire downtrend. You deserve whatever reward comes your way for such hodl fortitude. Regardless, you do not have the same perspective as one who has endured such trying times a significant multiple of that you yourself has endured. Having been through this a number of times, I am confident in what the future will bring. And whatever animalistic reactions I might have, have already been worked through in previous cycles.

I will concede that if your basis cost is smaller then you have less pressure, and I will also concede that stacking up dollars and bitcoins on both ends will provide a decent sized trade cushion, but I still don't see any reason to be patronizing about the situation... when all I did was make a statement of presumption that even jbreher should be nervous.. and perhaps moreso because of the bcash situation, yet whether you deny such nervousness or not, I don't see any useful purpose for the patronizing....

Oh, and thanks for commending my DCA commitment... at least my variation of such that I have been employing and I have been sharing the discussion of such, too.

So, no; jbreher is not becoming nervous during these trying times. Get the fuck out of here with your ridiculous mischaracterizing projection defense mechanisms.

I stand by my comments and my inquiries and my assertions, so far, and if you are not getting nervous than good upon you.  Takes a certain amount of juggling to also stay in bitcoin and also to maintain stakes with bcash shenanigans, too.
