LoL

Buying Eth was a much better choice in 2014-2015 though.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Both BeeTrash and Etherium are below $100 today.

You might have to clarify though: does receiving a Golden Shower from a prostitute count?

Depends, was that before or after he was tied to the bedposts and whipped?

All I'm saying is Eth was a better buy during that time frame.  When Eth was hovering at a $1 bitcoin was about $200.

Todays prices is 100x for eth and like 15x for bitcoin

All time highs is over 1000x for eth and 100x for bitcoin.

Just saying buying eth at that time was a better play.

You'd also have fatty liver.  Wink

Better off buying ETH. Even if you somehow managed to buy it precisely at the ATH ...  Tongue  Cheesy

Sorry thought it was new content - didn’t look closely enough at the charted ‘current’ price level.

In any event closely aligned with my current thinking and still relevant. Largest concern is a lack of “bitcoin is dead” newspaper headlines at this part of the cycle, and the fact that the price is down a bit further than it should be for early December.

Relax man! I don't think you're supposed to use the fork with your left hand unless you're cutting food and have a knife in the right.

The lack of a convincing bounce on this drop from 6000s is a bit unusual too. I'm struggling to find an analogue anywhere on the weekly log chart.

I've been keeping my eye on GBTC, to put into my mine and my wife's IRAs. The premium is too fucking high still. The premium+maintenance fees need to be significantly less than the ~20% capital gains tax that I'd have to pay from selling/using "physical" bitcoin.

With the impending Bakkt launch, GBTC might look like trash in a couple months. I haven't been able to find much information on using Bakkt in IRAs or 401Ks though.

All this doom and gloom, but I'm on for earning nearly 0.1btc today through funding on Bitfinex. So I'm happy enough Smiley
