Any time I've checked out boat rentals you can usually buy the boat for about 4 to 6 months of rental.

I'm planning on buying a cheap $10k small boat now then buy something better later. It just needs to float and get me 12 nautical miles. We're also in high season here so all the boat prices are more expensive.

We don’t have any sailor boat or yacht, but my father has a large dubble engine ZODIAC (think 2 times 350pk)
But still just a rubber boat
Its lot of Fun when I join them on it, but for myself I don’t like to own one cause I hate all the maintenance

I do like very much when i’m on a holliday and to cruise on a very local boat just cruising down rivers, Some animal spottings and having just a peacefull quiet time
Hope to be on one in a near future
