Well I think one thing has become clear here, Bitstamp has certainly not bottomed out into a rally. For one, look how low the volume has been.

Volume is not bad considering it is Sunday am in the US.

There's only going to be volatility from now until Gox says something...you should be loving it.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hmm, I wonder if these markets could possibly stay irrational for longer than I can stay solvent..
Don't use leverage and you are fine.

Or if you ran out of blow, guess the swings with 0.1 BTC each bet at 10x leverage. Same rush, but lasts for hours and hours.

Stop selling on Stamp you idiots! There is no reason to panic! You are only making it worse for yourself! You stupid sheep!

traders sell now hoping to buy lower, others panic thinking about the worse case scenario which I cant figure out yet, on Monday or in general next week there will be 2 scenarios:

1- Gox will not allow BTC withdrawals and declare its death, bad news people will panic and the price will crash on all other exchanges.
2- Gox will fix the BTC withdrawals and allow people to get out, Arbitrage will happen, all the coins at discount now will be sold on other exchanges which will bring the price down.

some people try to play these cards and this is what is happening now...

because everyone thinks that is going to happen the rush to get coins out will not allow for everyone to appreciate this, but many will probably those buying right now lol

There can't just be this medium-high volume support on a single day; it has to persist over multiple days.

I welcome Jorge but I ask that he moderate his negative views until he has a better understanding and until he has some way to substantiate the basis for his negative claims. But I must admit, I do like Jorge and I hope that he stays with us in the forums.

bingo!

So you guys think it will go back up higher than it was before?

Odd. I still have Gox prices with them. Just checked.

Got a margin call this morning. Thought Gox would go back up again at 300 like last time. Would have thought I'd have learned my lesson by now. Bloody leveraging.  Undecided
