Still let say 13.8 current high and low 9 current low Then what do we like more an instant red line and be at that low .... or a 2-3 month suffer of each day a few bucks lower? Please give me the fast spikes Probably we will trade between 8k & 14k for the rest of this year like Hairy’s fractal suggests. I can’t see a massive movement out of the price range I mentioned. The real fun will start as we get closer to & pass the halving in mid 2020. I guess there is still a good long period of accumulation if we want to.

Long post, but interesting read. Read as a very informative lesson, using bitcoin lenses everything has a different twist. Paradigm Shiftsby Ray Dalio Identify the paradigm you’re in, examine if and how it is unsustainable, and visualize how the paradigm shift will transpire when that which is unsustainable stops.
Conlusion of the post. Most people now believe the best “risky investments” will continue to be equity and equity-like investments, such as leveraged private equity, leveraged real estate, and venture capital, and this is especially true when central banks are reflating. As a result, the world is leveraged long, holding assets that have low real and nominal expected returns that are also providing historically low returns relative to cash returns (because of the enormous amount of money that has been pumped into the hands of investors by central banks and because of other economic forces that are making companies flush with cash). I think these are unlikely to be good real returning investments and that those that will most likely do best will be those that do well when the value of money is being depreciated and domestic and international conflicts are significant, such as gold. Additionally, for reasons I will explain in the near future, most investors are underweighted in such assets, meaning that if they just wanted to have a better balanced portfolio to reduce risk, they would have more of this sort of asset. For this reason, I believe that it would be both risk-reducing and return-enhancing to consider adding gold to one’s portfolio. I will soon send out an explanation of why I believe that gold is an effective portfolio diversifier.
Dalio is speaking of physical gold. Roach will have an erection fot that. But we all know BTC is the new gold. Don't worrk, memes will follow this post.

I will never be a millionaire through BTC. I hope in a dream world 1 BTC could be worth say 5000 USD maybe 20 years from now. I could buy a nice house mortgage free. All a dream though of course.
WOW, you are the man! @LFC_Bitcoin We have already seen $19k+ What's your next frustration? 🤪

Unless you can create blocks of pure energy that can easily be traded, stored, and harnessed to do work like in the Transformers cartoon called "energon", there's no such thing as a "new gold" or silver. Until you can do that - probably never unless it involves something insane like anti-matter but that's too volatile - then money - the base of Exter's Pyramid - will always be a non-perishable, physical commodity resource such as the noble metals and not imaginary, valueless, digital timestamps which are neither resources or non-perishable. Bitcoin is an artificial, Keynesian, designed to centralize, Rube Goldberg machine that can die at any second from a million black swans that metals are immune to. Not to mention the fact Bitcoin has built-in, rent seeking middlemen and doesn't remove counterparty risk, and is designed to centralize so has no fundamentals and no reason to exist. Calling something with built-in, rent seeking middlemen "money" is a joke. Bitcoin is simply an online video game where instead of having buttons, your only input is hash rate, and the so called "coins" are just the score card for the video game, but they aren't money just like the scorecards for other artificial video games are not money.

Trollgoossens, as a member of the evil, babylonian cult of Judaism, how often do you engage in esoteric rituals like this sacrificing animals to your god Satan?
