engaging argumentative noobs and r0ach doesn't make for the best WO

Regarding the user you mentioned, I am always surprised that we can let him deliver the insanities/outrageous opinion he has been uttering here for so long. Some of his writings are punishable and even if this part of the forum is not moderated or very little, some things are not tolerable.

(And I'm not even one of these people he seems to hate sooo much.)

My 2 cents, I had to say it Smiley

TBH, I'm fine with r0ach. It's good to have at least one active troll around who you can bash when BTC pumps tremendously.

Haha, a kind of punching ball  Cheesy

Fact is that he writes interesting things, sometimes leading to new discussions. But I maintain and repeat one last time (promised) that some of his words are not tolerable.

so we just touched about 9300 in the last hour, and after first hitting it 7 hours ago.
Purhaps this is a double bottom signaling a possible trend reversal?

I hope.
Been experiencing bitcoin least expected ups and downs  since early 2013, and it still is unnerving.

If you don't feel you can tolerate what someone is saying, simply disengage/ignore; diversity of opinion and belief is a fact of life.

Delicate sensibilities are no reason to restrict freedom of expression.

This is negative action, a while back it lost the positive trend.   Its been doing well to go sideways but its failed a few times to go up.   It looks negative to me and I think the potential is greater downwards then upwards, truth is nobody can tell you absolutely and in any case the trend varies by the time frame you view it from.   Short to medium term I'd call it negative I think

This is some double top, basically just short term but speculators watch that

This is longer term and matters more, I could be wrong but the simplest approach is to count the highest peaks and call if they go up or down each time, same for lowest prices each day or week.  Its in a descent I think hence thats the likely larger trend till broken I assume.

Not a question a 'sensibility'. Tell this to moderators so, if some posts do not suit them maybe they should just 'blacklist people'.

/end for me. I'm not here to disturb this nice and interesting thread. But it's been a long time i was thinking this, and like you wrote , you can't restrict freedom of expression  Wink

Our graceful moderator cannot ban people from this thread. And some of these trolls have been here from the start anyway. No use banning them, as it's easy enough to make new accounts. We have the ignore button for those cases.

Ugh - not so pretty.

I was getting really attached to 5-figure prices in bitcoin, after being down for so long.
Now I just have to focus on how much better it is over my $25-$40 cost basis and be grateful for what I have.

We got this far, so we can hold on another 2-5 years to see weather things improve.

I've realized through the years that very few people can be patient through these wild seemingly random gyrations.
and patience for those few that have enough of it will likely be richly rewarded.

citadeles, citadels...

Bond market is going into a black hole:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-07-13/the-black-hole-engulfing-the-world-s-bond-markets-quicktake

What is the end game there?

Difficult to understand/comprehend Max Keizer commented on above by saying that stocks would be "finished" somehow and we would split into 2+98 with 2% living in "citadels":
https://youtu.be/u3ojPk8CQns?t=390

Plus, here is Walter Isaacson telling us that we are about to split into subspecies and it would be difficult to impossible to stop it:
https://airmail.news/issues/2019-7-27/should-the-rich-be-allowed-to-buy-the-best-genes

I feel that all this somehow connects to recent PR moves regarding bitcoin as in "not everyone should be able to get in".

I purchased a small amount of bitcoin today.

Does this make me more qualified to speak on the subject?

What things, previously unavailable, can I now do with my newly acquired bitcoin?

You acquired what in US is considered property.
You can do retty much anything that you can do with a property: sell, lend, exchange, potentially get interest, etc.

Although you are technically correct that previously I was unable to sell, lend, exchange or earn interest on the bitcoin that I didn't yet own, I must admit, I don't see this as revolutionary.

EDIT: Why did you delete your post, biodom?

There is indeed nothing revolutionary about speculating on an asset, whether it is digital or otherwise.

Go to the Beginners & Help and Bitcoin Discussion sections and read about the different use cases for bitcoin. Its nobody's job to explain it to you or convince you why its revolutionary.

EDIT: If this is your first account on this forum then I am Satoshi Nakamoto.

I agree, also, I do not need to own X to speculate on X.

Go to the Beginners & Help and Bitcoin Discussion sections and read about the different use cases for bitcoin.

Thank you for this advice, I will see what else I can learn.

EDIT: If this is your first account on this forum then I am Satoshi Nakamoto.

You are the creator of bitcoin, as per your flawless logic.

I just tried to visit sportsbet.io, the website in your avatar, #KnowNoBorders, and I was greeted with the following message:

"Sorry about this, but Sportsbet.io isn't available from [my country].
