There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Bitcoin BEAM indicator

Very intresting indicator:

BEAM stands for "Bitcoin Economics Adaptive Multiple" and is the result of experimenting with various indicator types and formulas for almost 2 years. Various other designs were dropped or improved until reaching a satisfying result.

BEAM may look like a typical indicator, but can also be used as a basis for an anti-cyclical investment plan for Bitcoin as well as other crypto assets whose cycle is tied to that of Bitcoin. Roughly speaking, BEAM divides the price of bitcoin at any given moment to a moving average of past prices. This makes price trends more clearly visible.

This indicator is also available in tradingview to play with:

BEAM on TradingView
I developed BEAM in Pine Script on Tradingview.com. Recently I published “BEAM” and “BEAM Bands” there. So at Tradingview.com you can apply them to charts by clicking the Indicators button and searching for them. To apply them to Bitcoin I recommend that you enter “BNC:BLX” for displaying the “BreaveNewCoin Liquid Index for Bitcoin” chart and set the time frame to 1 day. The BLX chart shows all historical Bitcoin prices since mid 2010.

Heading into the halving within a bearish trend.. Never seen before. This is fine.

Never a boring day/month/year in Bitcoinlandia.

You call 5.5 months away from halvening "heading into?"

Do you remember the halvening in 2016 was in June?  November 2015 to May 2016 was a pretty fucking bearish time-period, if I recall correctly.

Bitcoin is bearish for the first time before the halving. Is it because the futures market is surpressing the price?

According to the chart, the behavior clearly indicates that we are at the beginning of a good bullish rally.

At this point in prior cycles, we saw rapid increases in on-chain BTC volumes for 6-10wks b4 bull market started

Worth watching for now to see if this repeats following recent uptick

Not to much bearish at 7K+ imo ..... love these prices as accumulation area’s
The price is not much bearish but the trend is bearish for the first time ever. I don't know any other reason except we have futures for the first time before the halving.

Don't you worry, December will fix it pretty soon... #decemberpump #xmaspump #newath2019  Cool

I like that belt buckle but dunno if I could swing the P.I.M.P look.  Jot me down for a bookend if you do a run.

Not as it is, that steel will surface rust.
Gold plated would be gaudy

Actually, yes, rust was my main concern. Powder coated or enameled for the win.

Its gonna look cool with the rust.

The desk ornament/bookend thing from the art thread would ship for $20 equivalent BTC.

I like those bookends, very cool.  Put me down for two if you do run them.

I'm wondering why Tether is traded so much. Any ideas ? I'm not a trader, so... yeah.

I think one of the reasons is because people believe they are saving dollars, they see it better to leave it in Tether than in a bank (although they do not know what they are doing), and it also influences the crypto market in China, everything may be happening to tether for the Fud to Bitcoin.

It is also an effective short mechanism if you trust tether not to suddenly become worthless, just convert to usdt then rebuy the dip.

{long ass list of people Bob bought a beer for, from a loose comment he made while drunk, which proves he is a man of his word. [He also offered me one even though I had only been lurking during that time]}

He's unhinged, here is a link to his trust flag if you guys haven't supported it yet.

I think everybody who is reading this that was on that list (or not) should go pay the-ass-above-all a visit in his thread. You don't have to say anything relevant. It would just be funny to make him have to delete a shitload of comments. If you want your comment to stick, I suggest either leaving a post that demonstrates Bob is trustworthy or else using reverse psychology to prevent him from wanting to delete the post. Both are optional. All of its optional. None of this really matters.
