Gosh, I have just now realised I don't know much words for food.
Well, I'll try anyways.... it will be mostly: seafood (shrimps, crab legs, etc), assorted canapes (?), carne mechada rellena/meatloaf (?), iberian ham and other assorted [embutidos], assorted cheeses, ensaladilla rusa (salad?), octopus with potatoes and don't know what else. I am not much into food, I will just pick some here and there.
For drink: Almost everything but I will probably just drink red wine, champagne/cava, gin tonic and maybe some shots.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020 WO FRIENDS!

Poloniex Crypto Exchange Confirms Data Leak After Awkward EmailCryptocurrency exchange Poloniex has forced a password reset for all customers due to a leaked list of email addresses and passwords on Twitter.
On Dec. 30, the exchange emailed its customers to inform them that a list of leaked email addresses and passwords could potentially be used to log in to Poloniex accounts. The exchange forced a password reset on any email addresses that have an account with the exchange. The email reads:
“While almost all of the [leaked] email addresses listed do not belong to Poloniex accounts, we are forcing a password reset on any email addresses that do have an account with us, including yours.” https://cointelegraph.com/news/poloniex-crypto-exchange-confirms-data-leak-after-awkward-emailhttps://twitter.com/PoloSupport/status/1211775980076982274 Now did this happen under Circle? And how do they have the passwords in the first place? Kraken and Poloniex should team up. I'm sure they could move mountains together. They are certainly moving US customers away.

So is anyone here planning to bag the first post of the new decade and are they carefully planning it?
I will abstain as mine would probably be 'bollocks' or 'fuck off'.

Whoever this is that posts this you need a memorable tag line, you can use below, as I won't be the one to post first in 2020 on WO. but right now after all the angst and drama of 2019, it would be: Bitcoin: You merciless Bitch! (tm Searing) That pretty much sums up my sense of betrayal from 2019. Brad

Come on WO,s I can still continue with this page.
Aaaalright: Our Raclette Grill died today. After 20 seconds smoke came out and then the main fuse of the house blew. After getting the lights on again, we had cold dishes (chopped) with white bread and patties and slices of sausage fried in the pan (meh). Then my wife had the idea to fill a bowl with tortillas, mix them with the remaining chopped vegetables and cover it with cheeseflakes. After a good 15 mins in the oven it came out deliciously and saved the evening I had a glass of tap water and a cappucchino as drinks. Afterwards, we were watching "Fantastic Mr. Fox" (streaming on demand) with the kids. I recommend this one to all of you, it's an oldfashioned stop motion movie starring a classy lineup of speakers. Have a nice transition into 2020, the year of my first halvening I'm gonna watch some distant fireworks at midnight +1 GMT on a nice chunk of chocolate spiced with some decarboxylated strain called "blue sky", which i made especially for this night. #hodl

This forum's UTC is the one and only. History will not care if you posted from Vanuatu at midnight and moan about it not being acknowledged.

Happy Preemptive New Years WOers ! A small competition to celebrate the ending of 2019 (and the bear season with it) and a welcome to 2020. As always, name this landmark. It is a major global landmark. Usual rules apply: 10 merits to first person to name location. V8 is only allowed two guesses per day. More pixels added at random intervals. The full picture is identifiable as the landmark. Shibuya, Tokyo? Shep. That is just outrageous. Yes it’s Shibuya Scramble Crossing.

I bastardised a Paella recipe to make a marinade for chicken thighs (turmeric, paprika, garlic, etc.) and a totally wrong interpretation of patatas bravas.
...because.

That was very cool, but did he say his prototype was 8 qbits? It really looked like a simple procedure and the biggest stumbling blocks were just monetary. If so it looks like this shit is coming alot faster than we have been led to believe. That is if what he says is true, has this been independently verified? I'm not sure what a qbit is supposed to look like to begin with. I also found it weird that the 2 minute vid he played spoke of the 3 states (as if the non state was one state and not an analog we just cannot measure) but he is only alke to test for the "ON" state or the "Not ON" state so I am not sure how this is used as I thought the "OFF" state had to be known? I'm no expert but this is just a few questions that popped to mind.
