I won't be happy until Mark is in jail or in a coffin. A lot of people lost a lot of money because of his shithole magic the gathering online xchange.
But how many people gained money because of MtGox?

Him and his employees... And whoever figured out the way to steal the 750,000 BTC. Anyone else who made money there paid fees to do so, so they are excluded.

TBH 750k coins is a hell of a lot to steal without notice, I suspect they were behind it all along. Nobody can do anything about it now lol.

It's a lot but they have been around a long time. When bitcoin was cheaper I'm sure they didn't care as much when they lost a few thousand at a time.

Anyone else starting to suspect that the recent large sells on Stamp were by someone who knew about the statement in advance?

Nobody would suspect that Gox just shut down to fix itself.  Irony incoming.

Do you think someone would do that, sell bitcoins with information other people don't have?  Roll Eyes

Why would they think that mtgox being insolvent means the price on bitstamp goes down? More likely it was a mtgox insider who was able to withdraw cheap bitcoins and selling them for a huge markup on stamp.

You should remember that this round of selling coincided with "Ryan 2bit" releasing his insider "info", after it hit here the price tanked.  Then the statement came round and it tanked again.

But Fonzie is long so its all good.

There were at least two big dumps before the 2bit statement.

I think that report is legit. that was probably sent around to all the major players. They are working on a strategy to reorganize Gox and pay its debts off.

So what you are saying is Mark & Co. are idiots...  Money in has to equal money out. When you are leaking money, put a cork in it.
