BTW Mtgox website is down, nothing loads... only a blank page...
You dont say..... dude, he just woke up And? It takes all of 10 seconds to skim a few titles in the speculation section. And if he just woke up, is he dumb enough to think hes actually the first person to notice Gox is down? And that the panic on bitstamp is just a coincidence? No, hes not. So its annoying that people post that crap. Think. why is your butt hurting, I don't visit the junk threads on the speculation forum, this and Risto threads are the only threads I visit on this sub-forum since few months, and this is by clicking "show new replies to your posts"..... even if I am an ignorant asshole, isn't wise to help me out ? or you forgot that you were once a noob and we given you guidance by writing wikis and helping unswerving the dumb questions...

I don't think we're going below $400.
That probably means we are.
Shit ;|
380 would be bad.... that has been a point of resistance through the october runup and subsequent ups and downs.

Bitcoin Dice - provably fair Sportsbook - provably fair Bitcoin Exchange - Exchanges need to be provably solvent, do they not? I think the remaining exchanges will need move very quickly to prove themselves and subject themselves to external audits. Minimally they have to prove that customer funds are segregated into one address per customer and that the exchange indeed holds the keys to those addresses. Coinkite seems to be on board already. http://blog.coinkite.com/post/77699705732/updated-audit-report-transparency-andedit: Looks like they're on top of it. I hadn't read the statement at http://blog.blockchain.info/2014/02/25/joint-statement/

The disparity between the prices in Bitstamp, BTC-E, and Huobi tells me that there is a large holder dumping in bitstamp. If it was majority of the market dumping, the differences between prices in the exchanges will not vary that much. Question is when will that guy stop selling.
+1 mtgox arb

Just think 2 months ago when btc was trading at $1000 and all the tiger direct, overstock, etc. was happening (now there is even more adoption than then). If someone told you... in 2 months from now, you'll be able to buy at $400/btc on bitstamp, but DONT DO IT, because mtgox will be closed. What would you think?

Most speculators lose money. Some low percentage of speculators are making bank right now.
