Yes our Prime Minister is wonderful. I mean he kills lots of old dears and resorts to socialist principles on a whim let alone in a crisis, but at least he speaks clearly enough for foreigners to understand him. Thank God and billy-o for that.

Bitcoin is up...

If stocks will go up too, that would be weird.

Bitcoin headed to $5,000! (staying on topic)

I'm calling $50k Bitcoin by Oct 13.

Fucking crazy boys... fucking crazy......

My fucking vending machine route got shut down today due to the government closing salons. Our state has zero deaths.  I'm considering just putting the machines outside, but I'm 99% they would get robbed.

I am sensing some weakness in the current short term rally and expect a pull back. Exited my longs in an altcoin. Will probably regret it  Cool  Roll Eyes

Digital dollars? wtf is that nonsense why bother god you repltilian assholes or is that fucking racist too

edit sauce coindesk

https://www.coindesk.com/house-stimulus-bills-envision-digital-dollar-to-ease-coronavirus-recession

This is a bigger deal than anyone realizes. This is not a liability for the federal government. They are saying it's a liability for the Federal Reserve (not the government). This is creating money out of thin air and distributing it to people. It is not backed by anything.

Unlike QE, where they are buying assets and putting them on the fed balance sheet, you can't sell this to anyone in the future. Unlike anything else the fed has ever done, this is purely inflationary. This is the beginning of the hyperinflation of the USD. The birth of the Fed Coin.

Not to be outdone, look for this from every central bank in the near future. Fed coins airdropped around the world hyper-inflating everything into oblivion. Trillions of debt won't seem so bad when a loaf of bread is $1000.

I bet Silicon Valley can come up with a funeral home share app for that, with surge pricing to cater for unexpected demand too.

How exactly would it deal with the unexpected demand? Could people rent out their homes for funerals and backyards for grave sites?
You tuck the phone into the person's pocket, battery overloads, cremation.

Looking at the most optimistic death figure predictions... I don't think we have enough samsung phones for that.

yeah they released their infernophone too early and had to recall them all as there was low demand for "kill-it-with-fire" back then.. wonder if they kept all those note 7s to re release it for emergencies like this.

edit
where is that "halt and catch fire" command when you actually need it

This is the beginning of the hyperinflation of the USD.

Yeah, it's very tempting for the government to just put extra money into people's hands for short-time relief during hard times.

But then people will realize there is not enough products available on the open market.

Especially when the rich ones will start hoarding like crazy at the first hint of product's shortage.

“On hearing ill rumour that Londoners may soon be urged into their lodgings by Her Majesty’s men, I looked upon the street to see a gaggle of striplings making fair merry, and no doubt spreading the plague well about. Not a care had these rogues for the health of their elders!”

The dems, still being in the minority, can't push through lambos for all.

speaking of lambos, now that some car companies are apparently making ventilator parts..

we ARE going to get lambo ventilators right?
