Sums up my thoughts on who to listen to about viruses and by extension things which really matter(tm)

Haha, absolutely.  However, it's looking increasingly evident that this guy's initial advice to govt. to delay the lockdown in order to achieve some form of herd-immunity may have led to many more deaths than if he had advised an immediate lockdown. I prefer to trust experts too, but this particular expert may have got this one wrong. Bigly.

First tell me that you and jjg agreed on ceasefire agreement Grin

We don't have an agreement, I don't deal with AI's, dah.

He actually loves me really deep down. Like Marianna Trench deep down. Roll Eyes
He loves me cos I play around with his algorithms, and he admires me for helping him evolve that way.

Probably, if I attempt to go way down deep, then I don't hate you, if that counts for anything.

I am not even sure if this is worthy of a response.  I was attempting to figure out how you arrived at your conclusion, including that you were feeling bullish about bitcoin prices..... and I had made some statements about preparing for down.. and/or not getting too overly optimistic about up or doubling of prices in a short period and assertions like that.

Of course, you want to get distracted into nonsense... but why?  largely your points are only slightly coherent, except maybe that you want to engage in some bonding with cryptotourist in the nethers of the WO nursery section...   Do we even have such a thing, here?  Infofront?   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy   Someone in charge of WO sections or sectioning?  Take us to your WO thread leader?  Oh, I forgot, one of the great ongoing dynamics of this thread is that it remains leaderless.. courtesy of infofront and his sticking with his election platform, largely... Shocked   No need to analyze infofront, but thank you infofront... #nohomo

Sure, outrageous gains in BTC prices can happen in short periods and when we do not believe them to be within the short term BTC cards.. and outrageous moves have happened in the past, yet we are not living in the past.

We are living in the present.

Accordingly, does anyone believe that it is realistic to expect a doubling or even a 40% BTC price rise in a month or even two months?  Seems a bit pie in the sky to me to be expecting such, even though of course such quick prices rises can take place, and even bitcoin is NOT really very liquid, so it can be pumped to ridiculous levels in short periods of time, especially to purposefully R3ck a few shorts.

@$0.06 /kWh for electricity, pre-halving one Bitcoin costs $3,177.87 to mine (for electricity alone)
@$0.06 /kWh for electricity, post halving 1 Bitcoin 'll cost $6355.74 to mine(for electricity alone)

 This is fine.  Pack your bags!

I am getting $3333 right now for the most energy-efficient S17pro (albeit 34% more efficient machines will probably be available shortly-for a much higher price, though), so numbers are real.
However, it is naive to think that miners would just pack their bags and leave immediately.

Fuck off with your self-proclaimed attempt to represent a virus.. .you fucking imposter wanna be relevant attention-seeking twat.

Your little humorous game is like someone attempting to be the spokesman for bitcoin.. they can fuck off too.  Just like bitcoin is decentralized, the virus is also decentralized so the best that you can do is to proclaim one perspective of what you believe the virus to be or to describe its various impacts rather than to pretend that you understand or even can meaningfully represent the whole thing.

Do you have an actual account instead of this bullshit pretentious one?  If so, use that.. otherwise, fuck off with your misleading proclamations.

The quarantine has boiled the brain of yours and seems like your sense of humor has been successfully amputated in the past, why so?
1 minute of silence, for those who lost their mind because of me...

Get real.  This is not about me, and I already said my part...

Life is quite unreal at the moment, killing the humor, whether dark or sarcastic, is not helpful for sure.
The feedback does not bother me at all, my humor is not for everyone's taste, i know.

Dude (or dudette) - here's my unrequested, unvarnished opinion - offered only because I wuv you so much.

I saw your post on Bruno's thread, and thought to myself 'what a twattish inquiry'. I briefly considered commenting thereupon, but ultimately rejected the idea, as it really isn't any of my business. Plus, Bruno's thread would be an improper venue for such a swerve; such would be ... insensitive. (There's a hint therein - should you be able to recognize it).

Bruno asked for donations. He provided a presumably well reasoned mechanism for such donations. Those that wished to donated. The way I see it, that's the end of the story. It's really nobody else's bidnez what happens in the future to those donations.

This is a pretty cool picture. I like the airstrip, but more the Control Tower in the background.

Ha! For the hundreds of times I've seen this photo over the years, I had not before noticed the tower.

If you look at the historical correlation between the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) and the S&P500 ETF (SPY), there's a definite pattern emerging.

I wonder how a similar analysis of GBTC correlated with BTC might look?

Oh that is bad karma - or whatever word was decided on. Last decade, They were always bombing people 'back to the Stone Age'. This decade they are money-printing, sorry brrrring, themselves back to the same Age. Well, nearly.

Young people are learning Their money has no value, its nominal worth being switched on and off ultimately in reaction to the incompetence and authoritarianism of Presidents Xi and Trump.

These two thugs are now desperate to get their domains back to work despite the human cost. They may have timed it just right, and deferred the inevitable collapse of debt-based economics until the next pandemic sweeps the land. But they may have set the collapse in motion already and we are headed straight to Ancapistan in very short order.

Time to stock up on bitcoin. I for one will not be letting any go any more for their blood dollars. If anyone offers me goods or service, then fine, I can pay in hard money, but the only things I will be needing for quite some time are masks and blow jobs.

@100trillionUSD
This will be an epic #bitcoin  difficulty adjustment +++

@100trillionUSD
It means miners have great confidence and are investing billions in new mining hardware. Yes some small miners with old equipment and expensive electricity will stop, but the industry as a whole is getting larger, more professional and stronger, and so is #bitcoin

@100trillionUSD
Difficulty adjustment (DA) keeps blocks at 1 every 10 minutes. Important because every block has new bitcoins ( miner subsidy). Currently new mining hardware (7nm) hits the market and blocks are found faster than 1 every 10 min, DA will adjusts up to keep blocks at 1 every 10 min

IMO it is great: efficient miners investing billions in new mining hardware because they are confident about bitcoin's future

Plus, Bruno's thread would be an improper venue for such a swerve - such would be ... insensitive. (There's a hint therein - should you be able to recognize it).

Bruno asked for donations. He provided a presumably well reasoned mechanism for such donations. Those that wished to donated. The way I see it, that's the end of the story. It's really nobody else's bidnez what happens in the future to those donations.

Members were making statements about the matter, and I thought that my comments were fair based on the information that I had.  Whether my information is correct or not is perhaps another question but I was attempting to leave my conclusions to be somewhat open and whether I worded my post in a way that was sufficiently sensitive might strike people differently based on their own feelings about death or even their feelings about how that particular situation was being presented.

Anyhow, in the end, it seems to me that I based my post on what I thought to have been the situation, and anyone has a right to correct the matter if I was wrong about anything that needs to be disclosed, but merely suggesting that the topic should NOT be discussed because it might be too sensitive seems a bit ridiculous.  When people are giving money they have rights to know things in terms of their own donation, and yeah maybe they could just accept that everything is on the up and up, yet rights apply whether any member had already given money or if they are considering giving money, including whether some things might NOT be true or even considering how much weight to assign to certain representations that have been made, whether by bruno or by any other poster in the thread or even if the referred to websites describing what happened might or might not be accurate in what they are asserting to be the case.

So, maybe we consider these matters differently, which is all fine and dandy, right?, but I don't really consider what I said in that post or how I had phrased my assertions to have been either insensitive or inappropriate.  If anyone needs a reference, then here is the link.

They usually track pretty closely

There's another gap in the NAV of $GBTC vs. #bitcoin.  In the past, such gaps have never lasted long, and usually it is GBTC that corrects to bitcoin's price.
